Fun weekend with friends
Publié le 17 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was very nice and accomedated our large group! The lake access was awesome with shallow water and a beach area. The gas grill was much larger than we expected which was great for our making burgers. The main door did stick and latched funny plus the cleaning fee was very high for us to be expected to wash all the towels. It was a great place to stay just make sure to plan time for washing things prior to check out. The neighbor dog was super friendly!

Thank You for your Positive feedback. We are working hard to find ways to reduce our cleaning fees. We expect to see reduced cleanging fees in the future. Finding cabin cleaners on Sundays to clean is a challenge. We have some new ideas coming in 2025 to reduce cabin cleaning fees. Check back next year! I know with a large party like yours the best way to keep up with laundry is wash them as you use them to speed up your check out process. Thank You again for enjoying Daisys company with the multiple vacation rentals on Big Swan she enjoys all the kids throwing the ball off the dock.

Relaxing with old friends
Publié le 19 avr. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis rental far exceeded our expectations, not only for our group of older friends (mid 30's). But I would take my entire family here, the property worked great for our larger group and is very kid friendly as well. The rustic sauna was great for relaxing and a dip in the lake. I definitely would stay here again and encourage others to do the same.

Tournament Weekend

We had trailers and allowed us to park next door as well as our driveway. Thank you for the hospitality!!

Publié le 8 nov. 2022 sur HomeAway1. Owner personally asked for my personal information which is against VRBO. Any personal information should ONLY be given to VRBO. VRBO confirmed this.
2. Property is NOT listed as a shared property. (VRBO stated this is a severe violation of their terms) This property was also being used at the same time we were staying there by the owner's children. The owners dogs were also on the vacation property the entire time we were there. (The owner lives next door.)
3. Yard was full of dog poop, dead birds and snakes that we had to clean up in order for our kids to play in the yard.
4. Owner entered and went inside the property unannounced, approached our son with two dogs while we were staying there. He also would not identify himself when we approached him and asked what he was doing until after he left and I text the owner and he then responded, "That was me."
5. Advice if you rent from this owner..Make sure to take pictures/video of the property immediately when you arrive as we were accused of damage that we reported. VRBO has stopped the charge on my account and is investigating his accusation.

1. The Personal Information such as your billing address is required for refunds to be sent to or if a guest leaves behind personal property such as phone chargers I pad Chargers and rental agreements. Our rental agreement was provided by VRBO to use. So if you have an issue with the rental agreement take that up with VRBO. The Rental agreement ask for Name, Phone, Email, and Address and to list the names of the guest staying to protect the owners from over use and unwanted parties.
2. The property is not a shared property. It is a private lake home that is on its own lake lot. Katie your children are on the neighboring properties cameras. Yes we do own the property next door also as a rental also. We also own 8 Acres across the road with a trampoline, playground, and walking trails that we allow guest to use. We are also adding a swimming pool to be used for future guest in the near future on the 8 Acres.
3. Simply this is not true the yard is not full of dead animals or dog dropping's.
4. The rental agreement you Acknowledged on VRBO states the owner or maintenance may access the property for example to exchange a propane tank with the empty one that is kept in the garage for the grill. Maintenance will always knock. Maintenance never entered the house the spare propane tank is kept in the dethatched garage.
5. Katie checked into our cabin and checked out with a broken window. Katie's party broke a garage window that is in the process of being repaired. Unfortunately Katie does not want to be responsible for the broken window. We currently have 8 Vacation Rentals with great reviews besides Katie's review. Katie I am sorry you feel the way you feel and wish the best of luck to you.

Horrendous
Publié le 2 août 2022 sur HomeAwayIt was dirty, accommodations were good but so much could be improved upon. First to greet our family in front of the garage were overflowing garbage cans and boxes of beer cans and cans strewen about with flies everywhere. NOT a good first impression!!!! I realize garbage pick up isn't until Monday but maybe a small shed could be put up directly across the road or a dumpster placed to put the previous renters trash. There was a major problem with the ejector pump on the lowwer level of the home (Master bedroom, laundry, tv room. Sewage , water on floor, sewer gas smell . Horrible, told we could manually switch it on and off. Plumber arrived on Wednesday, we were told plumber would be arriving sometime on Tuesday. Plumbers had to come back Thursday and repair again. Safety concerns a huge step ladder holding (propping) up an air conditioner, lack of railing along side the main house (the cement and wood steps) our 50 year old daughter twisted and severely sprained her ankle on these steps, still on crutches. I could rant on but, there were many good times spent with family on the lake and pontoon, and in the garage game area, all though there were no dart heads so the guys and gals couldn't play darts. Another idea might be a portable room divider in the " bunk house" bedroom area above the garage, just for privacy for families. I would not recommend this property for rental until several conditions are addressed.

Enjoyable
Publié le 6 mai 2022 sur HomeAwayWeekend with the fam was fun. Weather wasn’t the best but had a great time playing games in the garage with ping pong table and dart machine. There was plenty of space for us and the views of the lake were amazing. We plan to come back in the summer to enjoy more that the rental has to offer.
