Oceanfront Penthouse Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean

Oceanfront Penthouse with wrap-around porch offering direct 270 degree unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean and Hilton Head Island. Daufuskie Island Beachfront property with miles of secluded beaches along with a private outdoor pool for condo residents and guests. This condo has an open floor plan, cable TV, free wifi, fully-equipped kitchen and laundry room, lines and towels, beach chairs, and much more. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, a private bathroom, and its own balcony entrance. A second bedroom with a queen sized bed is attractively furnished and also has its own bathroom. The third bedroom has two twin beds and its own bathroom. There is a seasonal outdoor pool in the complex. Steps away from the boardwalk to a beautiful, secluded beach with unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean.
“No Bridge, No Problem”

One of Daufuskie Island’s charms is the fact that it is one of the few islands in South Carolina without a bridge to the mainland and can only be reached by ferry. As a result, the beaches are private, uncrowded, and secluded.

Daufuskie did not disappoint
What a beautiful island and experience. Had a great time with friends. Communication with the host was amazing!! Answered within the hour and soo helpful! When we arrived we found out the elevator was broken and had to climb 4 flight of stairs to get to the room I was thankful we all were in great health because no one notified us it was out of service before arrival. The house was beautiful, exactly as advertised. The view is absolutely breath taking. However, the house was not cleaned very well .. the main screen door did not even have a handle. The screen doors were broken. There were light bulbs out. But the overall experience of the island was amazing for our first time.

Beautiful property
This is a beautiful property right on the beach so you have the option of playing on the beach and ocean or swimming in the beautiful pool. We rented 2 golf carts for our group of 6 and had no problems getting everywhere on the island from this location. The unit itself is beautiful but could use a good deep cleaning. The twin bed bathroom has a lot of mold as well as some of the other vents in the house. The kitchen is set up very awkward, when the dishwasher is open you really can't move around the space which makes it difficult to put dishes away, this is on the builder though. I'm sure most units are set up the same. The sliding doors can use some TLC. My 81 year old mother could barely open and close them plus one of the handles was broken off. Probably from the stain of trying to pull the door. Lastly, the bugs in the kitchen, in the cabinets and running on the counter, ugh. I get it, bugs are hard to keep out when on an island but something needs to be done about them. Make sure you bring your own beach towels. We were told there should be 6, there were only 4 and one of those was still dirty and hanging in the bathroom. The location of this unit is ideal, top ocean front corner, if they clean it up and fix the doors it will be a perfect vacation spot.

Most relaxing place on earth
The condo is very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The views can not be beat. The sounds of ocean waves and the gorgeous sunrises are favorites. My husband enjoys shore fishing and seeing all the wildlife. Dolphins, pelicans, and sandpipers entertain right off the balcony. Very quiet and peaceful. Already planing our 4th stay.

Last minute get-away
What a great condo for my family of 5! Location was perfect, beach was quiet and perfect for our volleyball and frisbee family competitions and communicating with the owners couldn’t have been easier. Kitchen was well stocked and the dining room easily fit us all for game night. We plan to go visit again soon!

**Peace**
This was our first visit to Daufuskie Island and it did not disappoint. If you are looking for a place to get away and in need of peace & quiet I'm not sure there is a better spot. I visited with my 3 teenagers and myself. After a cancer diagnosis we needed to escape. The views, the proximity of the beach, how well stocked the home was, the kindness of Kristin with her patience in answering all our questions, the easiness of bringing our dogs, the recommendations of what to do and where to eat and the locals...LOVE the locals. Bring food to cook, they are not kidding about that! Take the golf cart and explore, talk to people you run in to and enjoy the history of the island. I can't say enough good things about this place. THANK YOU Kristin. We needed this so badly and you all definitely delivered! I was so sad to leave.

Great Thanksgiving at Dsufuskie
We had a great Thanksgiving at Daufuskie - we have stayed multiple times - but guests need to know what to expect. It is not the Ritz - but we are very happy to trade fancy for almost deserted beaches - it is a trip back in time! Nice people , unbelievably secluded beaches and a chance to really relax.

Family fall trip
This condo was perfect for our family trip to Daufuskie! The view of the beach cannot be beat, we could see forever in all directions. The pool and facilities were perfect and the condo was fully stocked with everything we needed. Having bathrooms for each bedroom is a great benefit. We will definitely rent here again!

Absolutely perfect!
Myself and 3 kids (ages 9 and 11) stayed here and it's even more gorgeous and perfect than the pictures make it look! The island was wonderful, this condo and the views it has are unreal. To fall asleep in the master bedroom while staring out the window at the ocean is pure perfection. We all also loved the jetted tub in the master bath, so relaxing! Had no issues with getting in, hosts were wonderful! I already booked our next trip here for November!!

Wilderness Paradise
This was a really nice condo and the location was perfect! Owners were responsive and accommodating. The island was a step back in time as far as a natural setting. Explore the history of the island before your trip to get the most of your adventure. The girls in our group highly recommend the Gullah Tour with Miss Sally Ann. Daufuskie Life provided a great golf cart, essential for getting around the island and exploring. Freeport was great for sunsets, meeting locals and other vacationers, drinks and food. This was perfect getaway from the crowded beaches we are all used to. We virtually had the beach in Bloody Point to ourselves. Perfect for long walks. Also saw an abundance of wildlife.

The Perfect Spot on Daufuskie!
We had wonderful stay at Kristin's beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located condo! The pictures really do not do this place justice. The condo is spacious, beautifully furnished and clearly well-loved by the owners. We had everything we needed - the kitchen especially is well-stocked for a vacation rental, which is important on the island. We woke up every day to a breath-taking view of the Bloody Point beach where I took a peaceful morning walk each morning. All of the island's attractions and eateries are a golf-cart ride away and you will appreciate the serenity of this condo after a full day of exploring the island. The hosts took care of us too - sharing great tips and information ahead of our stay and were super responsive during our stay. We will be back! Highly recommend.

Spectacular view
Beautiful condo overlooking the Atlantic ocean . Condo was so clean and the decor is lovely. The primary bedroom takes your breath away with spectacular views and sounds of the ocean. Ohhh and what sunsets!!!! If your looking for quiet , . quaint, and old charm then Daufuski Island is just the place. Not many restaurants or stores. Just a place to relax and enjoy the slow pace. Golf carts are there for rent to get you around the island . Note to self, pick up groceries and bug spray before taking the ferry to the island.
