Enjoy being walking distance to shops and restaurants, kayaking, paddle boarding, biking jet skiing and a short drive to one of the 4 public beaches where you can put your feet in the sand, watch the dolphins play and catch the most amazing and colorful sunrises and sunsets! Take a stroll through the Audubon Bird Sanctuary, tour the newly updated and educational Aquarium at the Sea Lab, gain some local history knowledge at Fort Gaines or take a ferry ride to Gulf Shores or Orange Beach for the day. Cozy Beach Cottage
Perfect beach cottage for a couple. Liz was the perfect host from beginning to end. She gave detailed instructions and was always available. The cottage was clean, comfortable and fully stocked. As an added bonus, the year round residents could not have been more welcoming. We have already recommended to friends and are planning our return trip!

Outstanding Little Spot!
From the first text message to the last, the communication from the owner was absolutely awesome! The property itself is in a neat little spot right off of the bridge. The owner has thought of everything. Every detail was spot on. There are 2 smart tvs with plenty of access to anything you want to watch. there are DVDs, books, and games. The house itself was spotless, with plenty of linens, utensils, washer/dryer, dresser, vacuum, you name it! There was also a ton of information on what to do in the area right by the door. The house was comfortable and inviting! I would definitely recommend having an omellete at the Lighthouse Bakery just down the road. It'll be the best one you ever have! I can't say enough good things about this owner! One of the best I've dealt with! Can't wait to go back!

Fantastic home on the Bay, very peaceful
We had a very peaceful week at Liz's home. We cook our meals on vacation and Liz's kitchen had all we needed as far as pots/pans, etc. Even some of the lesser thought of items in the kitchen were there. Washer and dryer is always nice to have, fast wifi and pictures of home are true---a really nice small comfy place and peaceful. Liz checked in several times to make sure all was okay and it was awesome. We will go back!

Best rental EVER!
Having been on the road for 7 weeks and having rented properties through VRBO among others for years I will say, hands down, this is the best. The house was spotless, had literally everything you need to cook, clean, play on the beach, and relax. One gets tired of incomplete and inaccurate listings promising everything and delivering on very little. This is not one of those. The location is ideal and the owner could not be more welcoming, helpful and kind. We will be back!!! Treat yourself to a wonderful vacation on beautiful Dauphin Island in this treasure.

I call it a quaint little cottage and it was absolutely amazing all the amenites that was supplied with it was so homey and thoughtful, absolutely loved the Deco, just everything about it, the outside view, we loved the swings down below, having extra beach chairs & sand nets Etc.
