Summary:
Beautiful newly renovated condos near the sand dunes. The best restaurant on the island Pirate's is right down the street. Very short drive to all of the best beaches on the island. Come enjoy our beautiful home on Dauphin Island!

The Neighborhood:
The closest public beach access is a 15 minute walk down the street or a 2 minute drive. There are 3 other public beach accesses, all not far away at all.

Other Things to Note:
Pets: No cats allowed! Dogs are allowed with a $75 fee per dog. There is a maximum of two dogs no larger than 75 pounds each. Dogs who are categorized as "dangerous" or "aggressive" according the ASPCA are not allowed. Please let us know if you're bringing your furry friend so we can add the appropriate pet fee, as the Airbnb website does not have a spot for us to add the fee. The fee will be added to the cost of your nightly charge. Guests must keep dogs on a leash when outdoors, and clean up after their pets. Guests who bring a dog without notification could face penalty.

Family vacation/dance competition
We have been coming to Dauphin Island for 4 years. This year we planned our vacation with my daughter dance nationals. This was a nice place for our little family. A few things would have made our stay better. A dresser in the bed room for clothes. A vacuum to clean up the rug. I have 3 children who are very messy. I swept it off the best I could. The coffee maker was in Spanish. Thankfully I know a little spanish. A great time was had by all. Would recommend to others. Thank you.

The property was not too bad till we got there. It was an upstairs unit which was not specified. My wife cannot climb steps very well, so it was a safety issue. Also, they have some of the biggest roaches I’ve ever seen. They also had all kinds of roach killer where the laundry is. So we were not satisfied at all. There was also a dead frog behind the couch that hasn’t been swept in months. They need a dresser in the master bedroom. so I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful Island Stay
We had an excellent weekend. It was a beautiful and clean space, in a quiet neighborhood. The property was within walking distance of all the things we planned to do during our stay and the entire family had a great time. If we return to the area we will definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful visit to Dauphine Island. The place was nice and with easy check in and out. There were a couple things that brought the overall rating down. There was no toilet paper when we arrived and socks from a previous group were on the floor of the bedroom. Overall, I would recommend this place to others.

Loved our stay!
My husband and I loved our stay, it was a very enjoyable and restful time. You enter in the center into an enclosed stairway to upper level where we stayed. The place was very clean and updated! Stainless appliances and a well equiped kitchen made meals easy. Very comfortable bed, didn't use the second bedroom. Sliding doors out onto the deck with table and chairs. Area was wooded with huge sand dunes behind the home, which made relaxing back there very enjoyable. The home is on a secluded dead-end street and conveniently located to any direction you want to head. Close to the main beach. You will not be dissappointed, you will be delighted.

Overall, I was pleased with the accommodations. The unit was clean and was as described. I wish the steps to the second floor had not just been painted, as that made it more difficult for me to access my unit. (I have bad knees). But I realize that maintenance is important, and the building was well maintained. I did not use much of the available accessories, such as outdoor chairs and charcoal grill, but appreciated having them. A great place for a small party or family.

Very nice property! Was impressed with the cleanliness. My only suggestion relates to towels: please provide dish towels in the unit since there is no dishwasher. Also, it would be nice to have a few more washcloths. Everything else was just great!

Great home away from home
Great hosts! Clean and had everything needed. Kids will have a blast here! Fun to catch frogs outside at night and you can enjoy sunset/sunrise over sand dunes. Great to have new, clean laundry facilities on site! Great location!

Nice little hideaway
The property was as advertised. We came in during some hard storms and the apartment stayed dry and kept power the whole time. Property came with a great little welcome book that told us about the island. It was perfect for our needs. Would stay again!
