I'm confused as how this is not as described. It says 1 bedroom (queen) with a pull out. The bathroom is definitely accessible with a pullout but is tight while being used as a bed. We have had PLENTY of families stay with us. We regret the listing was not read fully and you gave a poor review. Best wishes.

So sorry to hear this from your review. I'd like to clear up a few things for future guests. 1. Campers: The property is located on 7 acres. You and 5 other campers equal more than 1 acre a piece. The cottage is at least 300 yards away from any potential overnighters and are not visible from the cottage. They are actually blocked by a line of trees and had them spaced this way to provide the houses with the most privacy. You wanted "semi private" access. You did not have to share anything, immediately, with any of them, including parking. 2. Burning smell from a hat on a 2021 lamp and with no emergency numbers: A burning smell equals a fire. You never let the owners know there was a safety issue (there isn't). Was there a fire? Where there's smoke, there's fire. How did you put it out on your own? 3.No emergency numbers: Even though the house is located in the country, 9-1-1 works. 4. Only received a key box code and to text for check in: While this is partially correct, more information in the form of a paragraph was given. I'd like to know what else one needs to get into the cottage. 5. Nearest grocery store 20-30 minutes away: FALSE. Lookout Grocery is roughly 2 miles down the road. This is not a Dollar General and has fresh meats, veggies, fruits, etc. Get the homemade crab patties.. sorry you didn't discover or ask about this. But to tell everyone else there isn't a grocery is a factual lie and misrepresentation. 6. The house beside the cottage that is located in the photos of the listing is rented in August and September: When booking, did you believe that the house next to the cottage (visible in pictures) would be vacant? I'd be even more alarmed at that. Also, fairly certain nearly every home in America has neighbors. The nice couple that were there while you were there were not "fisherman" coming in all hours of the night. We do not allow young individuals or large groups to stay on property. However, if you had an issue with them, we would have liked to have received a text to address any issue. Our goal is for everyone to enjoy their time off. Everyone deserves to relax. 7. Towels mismatched: I have let our housekeeper know that as she does her best to provide a safe and clean experience, that some people require the patterns to match on their towels (although they are all gray). She will do her best to accommodate for matching patterns next time. 8. Not being near Beaufort: I suggest if you would like to stay in Beaufort, to look for a rental in Beaufort. You rented a house in Davis. However, like you stated, it is 20 minutes away. I do assure you though it won't be 7 acres of waterfront property and cars will be driving by at night. I hope you are able to find another spot in the future that has all you are looking for. Thank you for the recommendations on the mismatched towels.
