Let’s pause and talk about their kitchen! As the song says, “ Almost Heaven Voyager’s Rest.” Yep, pretty sure that’s what the song says.

It was well equipped with everything we needed to stay comfortably. Kitchen was full stocked with cooking essentials, beds were super comfortable and a soak in the hot tub was an amazing way to end the day! We enjoyed beautiful scenery, adventures hikes and plenty of family time and relaxation! We will definitely be back!!

A Perfect Getaway

The lodge is filled with fascinating items from Owner Jim’s travels, both antique and simply unique, which fire the imagination and beg to tell their respective stories! We felt a bit like honored guests in a magical museum and we can’t wait to return!

A Cozy Retreat
Publié le 29 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis place was very relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and drinking our coffee in the morning. Also, the decor was a constant source of conversation as the house has art and knick knacks from around the world. I especially enjoyed a soak in the hot tub and the very excellent "cave" shower in the master bath. My daughter found a bunch of kid's toys in the room we put her in and the owner was not only okay with her playing with them but happy they were getting used. Overall, the owner was very responsive to my messages.
