disaster
Publié le 1 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwaycould not get in the driveway due to ice. Dog poop on the deck. Ice maker not working. No water pressure. Difficulty with internet. Property manager offered no help with these issues. No cabinet handles so you couldn't open the doors. This house also has extremely narrow dangerous steps to the loft. You need to climb a hill to get to the ski slope. Stay somewhere else.

Hi Barbara,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Ski Inn is advertised as 4WD and chains being required to access during the winter. This is due to the fact that it is located up a steep incline and the property gets heavily covered with man made snow, which is slicker than natural snow, as it is ski-in/ski-out at Timberline Mountain. We do not have the ice maker hooked up as they have a tendency to leak. Included in the check-in packet is information on the water monitor and how to turn it on. The call regarding lack of water was returned and the property management employee walked you through how to turn on the water monitor. We do not recall being contacted again regarding the water. All things that we were contacted regarding were discussed and/or corrected.

Needs Work
Publié le 28 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe rental property needs some TLC. I had inquired about the hot tub prior to our arrival and received a vague answer about whether it would be in service. When we arrived, the hot tub was full of snow and ice and was not running. A repair man shows up the day before we were leaving to service it. Needless to say it was not ready for use before our departure. The living room couch is disgusting. The cushions literally have 6 inch butt dents on all but two cushions. Multiple light switches are missing, the living room blinds are broken, carpets are dirty. We were supposed to have firewood, there was none. The location is beautiful but the house needs work. I would not rent again.

Unbeatable slope-side location
Publié le 28 janv. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe had a great weekend at the Ski Inn. It was a perfect February weekend at Timberline, fresh snow and the deck was covered, it was magical. In the morning you can literally walk onto the slope (salamander) from the property. It is great being able to watch skiers go by your window, and we especially enjoyed watching the snow groomers at night. The hot tub on the deck is great. The house itself is very large with a lot of space for everyone. The mudroom in the basement is very convenient when coming in with wet ski gear. My only complaint is that the bedding could use an update, consider bringing your own pillows. The driveway is very steep and not maintained, an SUV is an absolute must and bring chains if you have them, we were not able to drive our Grand Cherokee up the driveway when it snowed.

Almost Great
Publié le 3 avr. 2021 sur HomeAwayWe overall really had a wonderful long weekend staying here. The place really wasn’t the cleanest upon arrival. (I found a used feminine hygiene product in one of the bunk beds & Im really not sure the sheets were cleaned in advance of our stay). Communication with the property manager really lagged quite a bit, and I never spoke to that same person twice. Oh and The coffee maker takes about 45 minutes to brew a pot of coffee. Maybe take your own :). However, the location & views are beautiful. You’ll have a good time!

Great family weekend
Publié le 19 oct. 2020 sur HomeAwayThe perfect fall weekend to get together with our adult kids and our granddaughter. The property was nice, needs some updates and the kitchen/ eating area was very tiny for a family of 8. But it worked ok. Loved being able to step out the door and walk the skiing path! Sleeping arrangements were ok too. Our daughter, son-in-law, and their18 month old were comfortable having the ground floor to themselves since it had a bedroom, full bath, and a little room for the pack n play. There are all baseboard heaters so be aware if you have small children. I suggest someone check all the lights bc there are lots of burnt out bulbs. Would be great if the TV in the main living area was upgraded to a bigger one, it's pretty small when you have lots of people trying to watch a football game! The hot tub is beautiful and it's wonderful that it's in an enclosed space with lots of windows and skylights! I'm sure it's fantastic in the winter too!!

great relaxation venue
Publié le 29 juill. 2020 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay in July 2020; it is a big house with all the amenities and tons of space for 10+ people (7 beds, 4 bathrooms), kitchen with all the appliances and a hot tab. The hot tub is heating around the clock and is a bit noisy at night (it is right above the master bedroom), but overall it is a great place to stay. It is close to various state parks, water falls and numerous trails. It must be even more enjoyable in winter, as it is ski in/out with the direct access to the ski slope.
