No internet

Hotel is old. No internet in the rooms only in the lobby which is a few blocks away.

We requested a ground floor room, but were on the second floor with no elevator. The room was really hot, had two fans and left the windows open for sleeping. Beds were comfortable.

Hello Arlene,I am sorry that we weren't able to accommodate your request for a ground floor room. We will do better next time. Typically, the rooms cool down at night if the windows are left open, as you experienced. I am happy to hear that the beds were comfortable.

Good City and Experience with Poor Hotel Food

I had no problem with respect to my room in terms of size, comfort and cleanliness. For this I will highly recommend the hotel. On the other hand I was very disappointed with respect to the restaurants. I had 3 meals breakfast lunch and dinner and all were very disappointing. I was in Dawson for 4 nights and can say the food was great elsewhere.

No internet

No internet in rooms. What hotel in the modern age doesn’t have internet… I was there for work. Beds are kid sized

Hi Richard,Sorry that we weren't able to accommodate your work needs. We are optimistic that with the rebrand to a Holland America hotel we will be able to improve the internet accessibility, acknowledging that we are in the far north and the infrastructure isn't as robust as in urban centres.

Very enjoyable stay! Everything was clean, if had everything we needed and the staff was great. We would stay here again!

We were unable to stay here. It was non refundable so oops. I'm sure it's a nice place
