Great view and location

Wedding Weekend

Loving Lake Life
Publié le 31 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayDan was an excellent host. He was helpful and was always available when needed, even though we didn’t need him often. The property is in a great location. It’s close to civilization but feels very remote. If you like to jog or walk in the mornings, it’s a great locale for that. The house needs some updates, so be aware of that if you’re looking for something that’s super modern. But, if you’re living lake life correctly, you don’t need to be in the house much. The house has great outdoor spaces, and a fabulous screened porch. The hot tub and pool table were a hit with the kids! We rented a boat from Paradise Boat Rentals, which is only a 30 minute drive from the property. We also brought jet skis and the jet ski trailer fit down the driveway easily. I don’t think the same could be said for a boat trailer. Great accommodations over all!

Beautiful

The kids absolutely loved swimming, paddling, and fishing. The adults loved the views and opportunity to relax. Nestled in its own nook, the home invited many deer in which everyone enjoyed watching. Host is extremely proactive and great at prompt communication. Highly recommend this home for a relaxing stay.

Lake Lanier
Publié le 8 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayNice and quiet location - overall home was OK. The great room and screened porch had a nice view of the lake. Outside metal dining table had no seat cushions so I couldn't sit out on deck to work or eat.
Access to dock in the backyard is a bit steep with dense foliage on either side of the path to the water.

The seat cushions for the outside dining set are in kept in one of the bedroom closets to keep them clean and dry. I wish you had texted or called...I would have pointed you to them. I'll make sure this is mentioned more prominently in our Welcome Guide going forward! As with all houses on Lake Lanier, the property from the house to the lake is managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. They have very strict rules about cutting back trees and foliage. We always strive to keep the path as clear as possible while adhering to the Corps regulations. Thanks again! We love receiving feedback so that we can strive to provide our guests with the best stay possible.

Parents 50th Anniversary

A beautiful and fun lake house
Publié le 26 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis place is gorgeous and spacious! My family only stayed only a few April nights...we all wanted it to last forever. There's plenty of great outdoor spaces with great views and comforts for relaxing and playing and eating. There's a well supplied kitchen open to a beautiful living room with dining area, great also for playing with my grandchildren. The downstairs pool table/ with pingpong table over gave us a fun tournament time (I let my sons and daughter-in-laws win ; )) And the dual-level fishing dock on Lake Lanier...wow it was great! Got to see my grandson catch his first fish there! Could go on and on. In summary, this lake house is a beautiful, private resort-like place for a wonderful family vacation.

Lovely stay!
