This is a nice hotel, staff was friendly. The lovely lady that tended the breakfast buffet was incredibly helpful and friendly. If in the area we would stay again.

The room was nice but a little pricey. When i initially arrived at the property, I wasn't able to check in right away. There was no one at the desk, and there was a sign saying to pick up the phone on another desk to alert them. I completely understand being short-staffed and the employees having to be away from the desk to do other tasks, but when i picked up the indicated phone, there was just a busy signal. I tried several times and was unable to reach a person. I left for about half an hour and came back. When I returned, there was someone at the desk and I was able to check in smoothly, though the attendant did not give me directions to the location of my room.

Thank you for your review! Unfortunately we do not have control over the rate that is charged by a third party. We apologize that upon your arrival we did not have a staff person available. Because we are a smaller property our front desk staff must wear many hats and it is likely the front desk agent was away taking care of one of the many cleaning tasks we use to keep our hotel in great condition for our guests. We do apologize for the trouble you experienced with our courtesy phone and we will have maintenance look into it right away. We will use your suggestion of directing guests to the location of the rooms at our next training meeting. We hope that you will choose to stay with us again and allow us to exceed your expectations.
