Publié le 17 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had such a fantastic time here! The cabin was beautiful and well appointed, and the location was wonderful. The owners were prompt responders and clearly take great pride in how the cabin is maintained. It was everything we needed for a weekend stay!

Quiet Cabin
Publié le 3 août 2024 sur HomeAwayCame up for a high school fishing tournament with my son. Was 10 minutes from Dayton boat ramp, was clean, quiet, and had parking for our boat. Only cons were it was pretty small so had to bring an air mattress and it did not have a washer and dryer (unless I missed it). Overall great place to get away!

Cabins provide a full bedroom, plus a pull-out queen in the family room. Sometimes, guests have more people present than the reservation indicates so, without disclosure, we are unable to prepare the cabin for extra guests. This guest is correct that we do not provide a washer or dryer for laundry.

Publié le 1 août 2024 sur HomeAwaynice cozy place. We brought boat and fished a few days during Bass Jr National Championship. I'm not an experienced VRBO but find myself somewhat aggravated the door code was not sent to me, I had to run down property owner to get it while i was driving...

VRBO instructs a guest to call for the door code, but they do NOT say to call while you are driving. Additionally, making a phone call is not "running down the owner". We always confirm the reservation by replying with a Welcome letter that contains the door code and other information for the incoming guest. It is obvious that some guests don't read the information. We are elderly, retired people and what little cabin rent we receive goes to expenses and supplements our social security. We are not some commercial outfit. . . . Just real people, sharing what we have!

Nice place but cleaning was incomplete
Publié le 24 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe liked it for our purposes but the coffee maker had been overlooked for quite awhile. Mold and old coffee grounds.. We went to Walmart and bought one. Otherwise the unit was clean, up to date and acceptable.

We appreciate the "heads up" on the coffee maker. First time we did not receive a 5-star review in several years. We are replacing the coffee maker, just to make certain it is up to our high standards, for future guests.

Father / Son hiking trip

This was my second time using a VRBO in this area and by far this one was in every aspect superior to the other one. The price was excellent and myself and my son had an great time. Absolutely beautiful retreat

Fishing trip
Publié le 11 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great stay, the property was as advertised. Very clean, comfortable and convenient. Just a short drive to the boat ramp and to town. Boat parking and charging outlet were definitely a plus. Would definitely stay again.
