Our fishing trip

Enjoyed getting to see the deer early in the morning and in the evening. Wonderful porch with plenty of seats and tables to enjoy the outside . Highly Recommend

Family getaway-
Publié le 16 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwaypositives: Pat was wonderful to communicate with, prompt to reply to messages and very kind. The bedding was clean. The fridge is a good size. The location is beautiful and the amenities were accurate per the listing.
Challenges: before arriving we had requested a dehumidifier in the unit. Pat was quick to assure us she would put one in, and she did. The problem arose when we got there and the dehumidifier was not turned on. The place was *very* musty and gave more than one of us a headache upon arrival. We understand that with humid climate there will be some dampness, this was more than “some”. The lights didn’t all work, so it was dark and hard to utilize the kitchenette. We did reach out to Pat and she said she knew about the lights but hadn’t had time for someone to come in a fix those and other repair needs she was aware of. The space was not very clean (spider webs, spiders, dirty floors, 2 cockroaches..). We were *not* expecting spotless by any means (our own home isn’t spotless) and we also understand a cleaning fee is added to the cost of a stay for a reason. We would kindly encourage a more thorough, detailed cleaning job.
This space worked for the 2 nights we were in the area, though we would not book here again for our family. I want to reiterate that Pat was VERY pleasant to work with, the space itself would benefit from some deeper cleaning, better lighting and a consistent dehumidifier running.

I am so sorry. I hired a new pest control person and that seems to have helped. I hired a man to change out all the lightbulbs, but he did not get there in time for this stay. The dehumidifier runs until the bucket needs to be emptied and then it shuts off. It has been very humid this summer, so we have had more problems than usual.

Great location close to boat launch
Publié le 16 avr. 2023 sur HomeAwayLittle steep getting boat in and out of driveway but doable. Nothing fancy inside it's a basement type area so a bit on the dark side but it suited our needs and price so no complaints here .
