Very comfortable and clean - a blast from the past
Posted Mar. 27, 2024 on HotelsIf you are looking for a big chain type hotel this is not your place. But if you want a clean and comfortable motel right on the beach this is it! We were thrilled with everything about this little gem. Check in was smooth, the room was clean and comfortable and we could see the ocean from the porch in front of our room. The motel is definitely old but that just added to the charm for us. It had the feeling of the old Daytona Beach we new as young adults (many years ago). Easy access to the beach and a pool on the property. We were able to walk the beach and view a spectacular sunrise. This was a stop on the way to Port Canaveral for a cruise and we will stay here again before future cruises. So glad we found it.

Dated but cozy and comfortable

This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. The kitchen table and counter were sticky and visibly dirty. There were dirty dishes in the cupboard. The bathroom floor had not been mopped for a long time.

Okay but not during high rate times.
Posted Mar. 3, 2024 on HotelsThis a very clean but very dated place. It seems like the rooms have been recently painted. The door to our room was less than 3 feet from the bed and had a large crack that went around the top and one side of the door. Lots of outside smells getting in. The bathroom in our room was very new and very modern. This room normally goes for $85, but during Bike week and Supercross it was three times that price. Not worth that price, but worth a $100 at the most. Had a swimming pool and beach access. The parking is very limited. Not even enough parking for all who stay there. We had to call one night because of no place to park. Ended up parking across the street. I would stay here again but not for 3 times the normal price and I would definitely want a larger room.

Access to beach was under construction. But weather was rainy sobit didnt effect our stay.
