Publié le 15 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe saw a pair of bald eagles and the trees were just starting to change. Beautiful scenery. Lacking a dishwasher, which if you are cooking/eating for many is a pain. Well-equipped and appointed overall. The living room also doesn’t have seating for 10 guests which we also didn’t like. Our group was just 7, but we couldn’t all sit comfortably in the LR. Also not sure how 10 adults could comfortably sleep here. For 7 adults it’s fine. We did enjoy the hot tub and fire pit. Communication between booking and reservation was lacking and would have felt more comfortable if that was improved. But overall this is a good property and set up. Neighbors were noisy at times, which was annoying. With this information, I would recommend.

Amazing View - Comfortable Cabin
Publié le 30 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayFamily vacation with ten of us. Plenty of room for all. Amazing views from the deck, fire pit area and gazebo overlooking the Mississippi. You can see for miles. Owners were quick to respond with any questions we had. Kitchen was well equipped. Everything was top notch. One odd thing we noticed was the freezer door would pop open ever so slightly when we closed the lower refrigerator door. So be sure to check it otherwise you will get frost build up in the freezer. Not a big deal, still a five-star cabin in our opinion. Be sure to try the pizza at the River Road House at the bottom of the bluff. Beautiful Bluff Home
Publié le 26 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat views of the Mississippi River. Home was very clean, comfortable beds and pillows. Close to Lansing, IA where we stopped at Sheps for drinks and Safe House for great pizza. Used the fire pit and there is a great view from top deck and gazebo. Would love to go back in the fall.
