Lovely cottage, perfect for my short stay.
Publié le 22 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayShort stay in Deal, close to the seafront, 10 min walk to town. Visiting family and friends, the cottage is perfect for a short stay. Comfortable bed, cakes and milk a welcome surprise after a 5 hour drive from Dorset!

Lovely little cottage
Publié le 21 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is the second time we have stayed here this year. Perfect little cottage for us (2 adults, one teen and a Beagle) to get away for a few days break. The cottage is in a quiet street just one road back from the sea front (nice to be tucked back as the main sea road can get quite busy traffic). It was immaculately clean, well equipped with everything, and so cosy (a lovely warm fire, which was very welcome after a walk along the windy beach) and it was a lovely touch to leave some milk and cakes out for our arrival. We will be going back again! Five Stars :)

A Good Deal in Deal

Pebble Beach is half a block away. The town center, restaurants, and shops are all within walking distance. Swim in the English Channel. Rent a bike if you enjoy cycling. Sandwich is a 6 mile ride east on a flat beach route across the countryside. The White Cliffs of Dover are 8 miles away to the west. View the lighthouse while sipping English tea on the Cliffs was the b

We misten wel wat theedoeken om de afwas af te drogen en pannen onderzettertje.
De verwarming stond iets te laag afgesteld voor de maand november waardoor het wat killer en vochtigere rook in het begin. Maar voor de rest was alles prima

PEBBLE BEACH
Publié le 6 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayThe décor of this small cottage is mainly blue & white to enhance the seaside theme. The tiny galley/kitchen is equipped for simple self-catering — our preference — & the separate dining room is spacious & comfortable. The cottage is just a few minutes walk from the beach, local shops, pubs, restaurants, etc. The only drawback could be the staircase, which is narrow & steep, with high risers & narrow treads, & a rope ‘handrail’ attached to the wall: rather like being on a small boat. But for most young people this will probably add to the charm of the place.

Lovely week away!
Publié le 7 août 2021 sur HomeAwayGreat location, excellent for exploring surrounding areas, we took our bikes and cycled most days, great flat promenade. Cottage was comfortable and clean, never had a problem parking, even in peak times! Will definitely return.
