Another stay

Wonderful get away

The location gives you access to some great marshland so you are treated to a daily dose of great bird sightings, including ospreys, red-winged blackbirds, herons and others. The house has everything you need. The only advice I would give - to remind guests to clean off the grill when they are done using it. We had to clean it thoroughly as it had obviously not been cleaned in awhile. I suggest you add that to the short list of close-out items.

Hi Heather, Thank you so much for the wonderful review! I really appreciate you letting me know about the condition of the grill. Some guests use it nightly, and some not at all. I apologize about the oversight and will ensure a closer eye is kept on that in between guests, as we strive to provide a very clean and comfortable atmosphere for all of our guests. What an amazing host!

Aside from the great hose and rental house itself, Deal island offers a small town environment with super friendly locals. I cant wait to book with Sarah again!

Very nice home

Fantastic Vacation!!
Publié le 28 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe absolutely loved everything about this house. From Sarah, the owner, who was very accommodating and easy to reach to the quiet and peaceful vibe. Sarah thought of everything you would need for a vacation (from fluffy towels right down to kitchen necessities) which made our stay so much easier. I would highly recommend and can't wait to go back for another stay. Everyone that we encountered on Deal Island and the towns we visited - Princess Anne, Chincoteague, Salisbury, Berlin - were so friendly! If you are looking for a home base for your visit in that area this would be the place - not too far off the beaten path but far enough for peace and quiet. Sarah was also able to hook us up with Captain Harry Nield, KingFish II, for a fishing charter. One of the highlights of our vacation. Thank you Sarah!

All of the big and little details that we didn't have to worry about, like toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, etc. were all there. There was plenty of room to spread out or congregate together. We want to stay longer next time.
