Lots to do in Lunenburg
Publié le 25 août 2024 sur HomeAwayMy wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Joan’s house on the Second Peninsula. We stayed for 3 weeks. During our stay we attended the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival, caught lots of Cod and Polluck with Ocean Adventures, road our bikes to Mahone Bay, (5 miles), and Lunenburg, (2miles), on the Bay to Bay trail that was easily accessed from Joan’s house. watched two 8 point bucks, and one 9 point buck eat apples at all hours of the day 20’ from our bedroom window, a pair of fawns play in the back yard. Watched the tide roll in and out from the front porch.

Charming Cottage Getaway
Publié le 15 août 2023 sur HomeAwayI loved staying on the peaceful outskirts of Lunenburg with a water view. This beautifully decorated gem of a cottage is super clean, comfortable and perfectly outfitted. Joan met and oriented me and provided the support to find my way to the best beaches, restaurants, trails etc. for my stay. She is the great balance of helpful and respectful. The area is gorgeous and I want to return!

Wonderful place to stay. Great house, great location

The location is great - close to Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, beaches, etc. Joan was wonderful. Met us upon arrival to show us her home and was very prompt at replying when I messaged her. I highly recommend her home.

Perfect location, setting and cottage.
Publié le 7 août 2021 sur HomeAwayMy daughter and I enjoyed a well equipped cottage overlooking water with close proximity to Lunenburg and Mahone Bay. Hiking trails and day trips were a short scenic drive away. Even a light rain was pleasant on the front porch.

Mary and her daughter were a delight to host and left the house just as they found it. I would host Mary again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful quite retreat
