This place is a hidden gem , it has a resort feel to it from having an indoor pool , bar/restaurant, breakfast was phenomenal and included with stay.

Jacuzzi wasn't working
Sauna wasn’t working
Heater in the pool (if there was one) not at a temp you would expect
Despite the cons which I’m sure are in the works to be fixed , this Hotel is now my go to when I am in the Decatur area.

My only complaint was the bed frame as not comfortable and the pillows were mushy at best. Breakfast Buffet was wonderful! All staff friendly

The staff is very polite, professional and accommodating. The hotel is clean, safe and well maintained. The outside of the property is a little run down, but safe and clean. The jacuzzi was empty and being repaired during our stay ((8/23-8/25), but the pool was open, clean and well maintained. It is obvious this hotel used to be a destination. Now I would consider it one of the best kept secrets in Decatur. We are already booked to return later this month.

They charged $25 extra dollars without telling me. Then when I questioned the unexpected charges, I was told they were "holder fees" for potential damages after i had already checked out. I was never told about these potential charges or did it say anything in the details of booking. They also refused to give me a receipt at the time of check out. I will be disputing these charges with my bank.
