Weekend at Sewanee

Great Little Getaway
Posted Mar. 28, 2024 on HomeAwayWe enjoyed this little mountainside getaway. Great location for hiking and the Caverns with a private property to relax and unwind. The hot tub was a must after the long hikes! The kids enjoyed the game room and lots of space to play and run around.

Beautiful and secluded
Posted Mar. 4, 2024 on HomeAwayWe had the most amazing time. We were looking for something secluded and modern with beautiful views and this place exceeded our expectations! We planned on coming to the area to elope and once we saw how beautiful the property was we asked if we could get married there. We highly recommend this property for your stay, we will for sure be back!

Our Go To for Couples Retreat

Perfectly away from everything
Posted Jan. 3, 2024 on HomeAwayIt’s perfect for getting away but not too far away. It takes a little bit of extra effort to get up to it but it’s worth it. We did the Greeter Falls trail about 40 minutes away this time and we 10/10 recommend. It was a little over a mile with a lot of steep elevation changes but it was thrilling and the views were worth it. The hot tub on a chilly morning and evening was blissful. The fire pit helped us be able to enjoy the outdoors with some extra warmth. The added hammock since our last trip was the most peaceful chill spot ever. A+

Posted Nov. 8, 2023 on HomeAwayWe stayed here in early November for Sewanee's homecoming weekend. Loved the cabin, the guest house, and the peaceful surroundings with incredible views. The drive up Roarks Cove Road to campus was scenic and pretty easy from the cabin. Is a much quieter option than others that are in the "Sewanee-Montagle corridor". Highly recommend!
