Unforgettable vacation

Honest we will definitely rent here again. Thank you for all you did to ensure we were safe and sound! Your property is beautiful and Elk Creek will have a lasting memory on us.

Beautiful area
Publié le 4 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWonderful cabin along a stream. Living room furniture was worn and uncomfortable however with the hurricane damage it may not be an issue. It breaks our heart to think that this beautiful area sustained so much trauma and damage.

I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. I see that your stay was prior to the storm. Just to update, this area was not hit to the extent of other parts of Western NC, and we are very blessed and thankful. The cabin and property fared very well, and the businesses in Boone and Blowing Rock are all back open. Thank you very much, and I hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.

Quiet location in the mountain
Publié le 14 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin is located on a private drive with 3 other cabins. The satellite based internet is capable of streaming on the TVs and phones. The speed of the internet is pretty good as long as the satellite dish is not obstructed. The creek out back was great and our dogs loved playing in the water. It takes about 20-30 minutes to get into town on the long winding road. Overall, this cabin is well worth the time to spend inside or travel around the mountains.

Great place to vacation!

We loved the privacy, large yard, stream for fishing and the hot tub on the porch! Looking forward to coming back!

State Park Adventure
Publié le 30 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis cabin was the perfect location for exploring many of the NC state parks in this part of the state, though the location of the cabin and surrounding area was so beautiful we hated leaving it everyday to go out hiking, but very much enjoyed the front and back porch for relaxing when we returned. The cabin was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. Great layout for two separate adults or two couples. The kitchen was well appointed and comfortable. We absolutely loved it!!
