Publié le 3 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayVery nice cottage on Deer Isle with everything you need. Away from Bar Harbor and Acadia crowds, but close enough if you plan on driving there for a day or two. Rachael was always available if we had any questions about how to get around the Isle, things to do, etc. Her husband’s lobsters was the best we had in a long time. I definitely recommend. 😊

Rachael and her husband were welcoming and gave us the best service we could have wished for. Gave us some time to relax and when we wanted some action Bar Harbor and Bangor are an hour away. I would recommend a thousand times.

An exceptional house and location

Deer isle / Stonington Stone’s Throw House
Publié le 15 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwaySpotless, comfortable, relaxing! We enjoyed the nice deck and comfortable chairs overlooking woods with ferns and glimpses of the water beyond. Large kitchen with nice appliances; dishwasher, immaculate refrigerator, microwave… also a nice w/d area in large bathroom. Enjoyed exploring the local area. Intended to shoot some hoops, but didn’t get to it, too busy relaxing. Our host Rachel was excellent… kind and helpful.

First Trip to Maine
