Arriving just after a heavy snowfall, the hotel was inaccessible by road. I could not check in but was still charged for the stay.

Room was very spacious and comfortable. Also very clean. The only thing was that it's quite remote.
Also, pay attention when booking which room you book, because the garden view rooms don't have a nice view!

Pour : Good hospitality with well behaved Hotel Staff
Contre : Free Cabs for Mall road should be given at-least 9pm instead of 6pm. Since it is at lonely place, Hotel should have more facilities to engage Guest.
Emplacement : Nothing can be done from this place as it disconnect from the Mall Road.
Feels Amaze to be on Hills top, but it disconnect the walk/ take steps to mall road as it is little far. However Hotel provide free cabs to go and back but till 6pm, Whereas generally a traveler doesn't come by 6pm back at hotel. Some Room services were missing while check in but it was given on request without any delay. Almost Zero In-house Guest entertainment entertainment activities considering the disconnect from Mall Road. Food Menu require immediate add-on Variety it is very less However what is there its delicious.
Overall I still recommend to everyone, who wants to have 4 Star hospitality with well behaved Hotel Staff (Which is very very imp). and pleasant view at hills top. GO FOR IT.

Hotel with a view
Publié le 20 févr. 2018 sur HotelsThe Hotel is very well-maintained and the highest position in Mussoorie - which means you get great views - but getting to the hotel involves a steep drive up a narrow road with many hair-pin bends. So plan to reach the hotel when there is daylight.
The food is good - though a bit on the expensive side. The buffet breakfast had quite a varied spread. The service is very good.
One problem we had during our stay was hot water not being available periodically due to some plumbing issues - hopefully that will be sorted out soon.
It snowed while we were there and we could not go anywhere on out first day - but we did enjoy the hotel grounds which is quite spacious

Worst stay ever in my life!

Thank You for your kind word, it may help to us improved our service of hospitality, we always do our best but some time we failed, There was a minor glitch with the local electricity supply due to the winter maintenance at the local power grid. That was the only cause for the multiple power cut hot water is supplied to the rooms at 50 Degree C. We made an alternative provision for provision for you and your family in the room at the time appreciated the same.
Regarding the location we are located at one of a kind hill top location with 360 Degree panoramic view of the iced peak and Devdar forest, No doubt why it has keen a royal residence for past 100 years, We are located half KM. Away from the great mall road and in two KM. Radius with all competitor hotels. Upon investigating we are learned that your driver who was not aware of the local roots took you the longer way even after getting a brief from the travel desk therefore we cannot be held responsible
You had ordered the food @10 PM but did not turned up till @10:40 Hrs, Half the family member waiting to start till your arrival which we guess was the cause of food getting cold, however we had offered the children complementary beverages to cover for this cause only still upon C/O you had ask for discount we offered you six thousand INR. Worth of discount just if satisfy therefore we did our part to the fullest.
Wi-Fi is only complementary in lobby first half an hour.
We apologies for inconvenience that it may have caused and waiting for your next visit.

Good Location - Friendly Staff & Nice Food
Publié le 5 nov. 2016 sur ExpediaHad a 2 nights stay in the hotel. Found it very pleasant. Welcome drinks were offered, hotel staff was very friendly and cooperative. Hotel offers a very nice breakfast. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Did not find anything short which was promised by hotel before booking.
Would definitely recommend to someone !!

Tranquility and Peace in the bustling Mussorie

Pour : Nice location, No chaos of the Musoorie Mall road as it is located in a residential surroundings. Hotel facilities are maintained in perfect condition
Contre : Very steep charges for the Food, It was comparable to the 5 star resorts though the quality and quantity was not comparable.
Emplacement : Location is very good though you will find it very quiet. Also the access to the resort is via steep climb and sharp turns so drive carefully.
The hotel is a great stay given the price point as it lives up to the classification of a boutique hotel. The property is recently renovated and maintained.
The views from valley room are great. Try avoiding the Garden facing rooms as the plus point is just a big balcony. Noise from the evening parties can spoil your peace or you have to shut the doors and enjoy inside only.

Nice family hotel at highest point in Mussoorie !
Publié le 13 oct. 2016 sur HotelsDunsvirk is at the highest point in Mussoorie. Very picturesque. We lived in the Suite overlooking the valley towards the back of the hotel(#211). The room was magnificent with a spacious balcony/porch. One of the basic comforts that I felt missing was a bath tub. In terms of service, they did quite well and always with a smile. Again, one of the subtle needs that I think was strange to be missing in a hotel of this class was non-availability of an Iron Board in the hotel to iron clothes. The In-room dining is a little over priced knowing that the altitude of the hotel makes it hard for travellers to stroll out for dinner. The approach to the hotel is through the ever crowded Library Chowk that takes an eternity to get through - something that other travellers might like to consider but the view from the hotel is totally worth it. Overall, I loved the stay at Dunsvirk.

Sir the hotel is situated at the height of 7,000 feet above sea level. We have to follow Uttrakhand government's strict norms of Water consumption. We do not waste not even a single drop of water at our hotel as water is environmentally the most precious resource available to mankind. The location where we are situated is private forest estate,which is sensitive to environmental conservation.
Therefore as an alternative we came with one of its world's first six feet deep plunge pool with an inbuilt Jacuzzi system. That provides the Luxury of gazing at the complete Doon valley from one point.
Its a big hit with our frequent guests.Sincerely we applozie for the inconvenience caused to you, and we shall await your next visit soon.
