Publié le 15 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayGot in about 530pm after an 8 hour drive. We tried to cook a quick meal for our family. Grabbed a pot and my hand was covered in grease. Every pan dish and cup needed to be washed before using. After dinner made a cocktail and the shaker I took out of the cabinet had water left in it and was completely moldy. We opened the oven door and the handle to the oven door was broken and the handle came right off. No batteries in the tv remote. Floor fans didn’t work. Stain on my comforter and broken curtain rods. Balcony door blocked by trash and chairs folded. Floors were dirty and hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Found food under the coffee table. Positives were the fire place outside and hot tub was nice. The winery next door was warm and inviting

We would kindly ask prospective guests to read every other review ever left for this property for an honest assessment of our property from guests with integrity, especially in regard to cleanliness. Bridget stayed for four nights and never reached out until after her stay and demanded money. There are many details we could include but will not for the sake of space (for example- we don't even provide a cocktail shaker). Unfortunately, Bridget was not an honest guest. She is not welcome back to our property and we would not recommend her to other hosts.

Perfect family gathering place
Publié le 18 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWith grandparents and 2 families with children, not only was the house perfect but the fenced yard was huge and spectacular. We didn’t use the hot tub, but there was plenty of good space for adults, too. We gathered for a family wedding, but the space enabled us to spend a few wonderful relaxing days with family we rarely see. Communication with Leora was prompt and accommodating. 5 stars all around! Thank you!

Beautiful property and home
Publié le 18 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had such a wonderful time at the farm house. It was just as charming as we had hoped for.
WE were enchanted by the outdoor fireplace next to the hot tub.
The yard was perfect for croquet and bocce ball, with plenty of room for the dog to run.
Don’t miss pizza at the winery.
The host was warm and very responsive. She checked in to make sure we had everything we’re needed.

Beautiful and Perfect for Our Stay
Publié le 11 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved the grounds and the house was perfect, homey, roomy and had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the winery, there's a lovely creek in the back and we loved hanging out outside on the back patio with the fireplace as well as inside the house. There was room for everyone and so peaceful!

Great house in a great location
Publié le 4 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was a great place filled with thoughtful touches like the board game closet and the bench near the creek. The kitchen was great (better then my one at home!) and the couches were super comfy. The trail to the three Fox winery (a must visit!) was very pretty as well.
It was the perfect spot for our reunion. I’d love to come back next time and use the huge yard for some family soccer games!

Comfortable Stay, Great Location, Beautiful Setting
Publié le 14 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed for a week while visiting Upperville. It was easy access to our destinations and the home comfortably fit 8 of us. The setting was quiet yet convenient to highway. Lots of inviting outdoor spaces! Communication with the property owner was very prompt and a minor problem quickly resolved. Very satisfied with this home and will definitely return if needing a place to stay near Upperville.

Relaxing getaway
Publié le 27 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had such a great time at this beautiful farmhouse! Everything we needed was there, and the house is lovely. My girls enjoyed playing games, billiards, swinging on the rope swing, taking walks and seeing the creek, and the grown ups enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing. The house has everything you need for a relaxing get away. The hostess was gracious and communicative. The house was clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We love the property and hope to return!
