Absolute nightmare. Owner was the worst person I have ever dealt with. So bad that i left 2 days early. Pool is dirty and cracked all over. Water in hot tub looks brown. Do not go to this property it is not worth the money.

He made a reservation for 7 nights for 1adult and 2 kids but 3 adults and 2 kids stayed for 5 nights and checked around 3pm on 6th day as per hotel's request of either pay extra 2 adults or check out.Hotel called 911 to cool down his abnormal refund request which got to be done by booking agent and refused to his request.He was a repeated family claiming that whole family members love pool and hot spa.He tried unfair business transaction and harassed many times which was reported to the police records.We are trying very hard to keep affordable rates and they were using facilities badly and unreasonable supplies,towels,soaps and etc.LET'S DO FAIR HONEST GAMES!

Overall, the stay was ok. They do offer a nice getaway for the price paid for. The reason I have a two star review is because the owner showed a poor level of professionalism at times as well a bad attitude.

This guest asked unreasonable demands very often which is not within common sense.We have very professional standards to reject their demands.

The owner was extremely kind and helpful. The room was clean which is a must. This is not the most up to date remodeled establishment, but that is not important to me. Everything was clean and we had what we needed! The price point for the area was what I was comfortable with for the weekend. My son loved the hot tub! I would definitely stay again if I am back in the area.

The hotel is off the beaten path but clean, comfortable, in a scenic location and the staff was top notch. Its old, but much more reasonably priced then the big names. I travel for a living so if you want a great value, look no further. I felt safe, the other guests were great as well. It is a very different setup then you are most likely used too. If you are expecting the Waldorf, take it down a bit. Don’t spend two to three times more when this place is 90% as good. It has wooden floors so they make a bit of noise but that is a very, very minor issue. Nice bathroom, hot water, clean, etc. also an indoor pool. It is attached to a cool old big hotel that I wanted to ask to see inside..:) Maybe next time as I would love to see a few of the rooms. Recommended!

Quiet, peaceful, great location, budget friendly
Publié le 16 sept. 2024 sur HotelsExcellent stay and budget friendly for a busy fall weekend in the Poconos. A comfortable alternative to other very expensive hotels on a Saturday night. Nice hilltop location, very quiet. Walking distance to multiple nice restaurants and coffee shops. Close to the AT for hikers, great hotel passing thru for motorcycles as you can park right at room. Very satisfied with the stay, thank you!
