Taj Mahal, New Delhi, is located in one of the best neighborhoods in the city's center—clean, quiet, and walkable. We stayed on a higher floor, allowing us to enjoy a beautiful city view. Arriving from Varanasi, we spent just one night at the hotel. As we had an early flight to Seattle the next day, we couldn’t experience all its amenities, such as breakfast. However, based on our stay, we believe the hotel deserves a rating beyond five stars.

The Taj Mahal Hotel is the ultimate luxury experience when visiting New Delhi. It is situated at a very convenient location with short walk or cab ride to popular tourist sights (e.g. India Gate, Humanyun's Tomb) and shopping venues (e.g. Khan Market, CP, South Extension). The rooms are very comfortable with all the expected amenities from a top hotel. The staff are incredibly helpful and polite. We ate at Machan and Varq, which were both great. We will be back.

Great place. Great location and service and great food options. Rick’s bar cocktails with live piano player was amazing. Breakfast at Machan was really good. Heated outdoor pool and jacuzzi enhanced the experience. Highly recommend.
