somptueux hôtel moderne malheureusement situé en banlieue de New Delhi mais qui nous parfaitement convenu quand on a un chauffeur et un guide à disposition.

Très bel hôtel pas excessif

Not anymore what it used to be

But in few month, quality of management is not the one of a 5 star: Shower not really clean, toiletries missing you have to claim about, external pool dirty, need to wait for 5-10 minutes to get an espresso at breakfast...

I booked one night at a hotel in Delhi through Expedia for two adults and a 14-year-old child with the plans to book another day 2 weeks out after returning back to Delhi if we liked the experience, which we did not do. Upon arrival, the receptionist unexpectedly informed us of an additional charge for anyone over 12, which should have been included in the Expedia pricing itself. This was the only hotel out of 17 on our India trip with such a fee, which I felt was suspicious, but I paid it.
The receptionist provided us an upgrade due to the extra hassle. However, the next day, when I enquired more about the charge, a different receptionist explained the charge was for the room upgrade, not the child's age. Realizing I might have been misled by the previous night's receptionist, I requested a follow-up, which they promised to have over 2 days but after over two weeks, there has been no response. While the facilities and service were overall good, the suspicious charge and the handling of this situation was concerning and disappointing especially for a five-star hotel.

The personal and the hotel were so nice, the only thing is that if you want to explore Delhi as a tourist the location of the hotel wont be the most convenient.
