Excellent place to begin exploring India

Lovely homestay! The room is clean, comfortable and quiet. The home is inviting and breakfast is enjoyed with the other guests. The staff is kind and attentive. The owners are amazing! They helped us set up reliable transportation from the airport. This was something we found other travelers throughout our trip had issues with. They guided us as to where to get a SIM and exchange money. And they provided us a contact to set up train travel. All these things were done with true care and not in the unfortunately often exploited “I have a friend” way that one comes across when traveling. They answered so many questions that popped up during our travels. We ended up staying again on our return trip through Delhi.

Extremely helpful and courteous staff. Nice interior. Decent location for exploring south Delhi. A little difficult to find since not marked on the outside. Some rooms overlook major street so ask if traffic noise at night bothers you. Not presently taking credit cards.

We had a fantastic time! The Staff are knowledgeable and friendly and assisted with our travel arrangements daily. They offered a wonderful breakfast and even offered to prepare us a free dinner option on one of our nights! The property was clean and respectful. It is in a quiet neighborhood and near a main road that makes it easy to pick up uber or a tuk tuk.. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely appeals to an older, more refined guest.

This bnb is in a quiet and lovely neighborhood with lots of trees and green space. The hosts are friendly and the staff is helpful. If you are looking for a comfortable and safe space to stay in South Delhi, I highly recommend this bnb.

Mein Mann und ich haben das Thikana als Standort für unseren Indienaufenthalt gewählt. Der letzte Besuch dauerte 8 Tage. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Liebevolle Betreuung durch die Besitzer Sheetal und Atul und das Personal. Sehr anregend waren die Gespräche morgens um den großen Frühstückstisch. Wir werden im kommenden Herbst auf jeden Fall wieder dort wohnen.
