We couldn’t even go to the property. Mitchell would not answer his phone until 4 hours later I contacted VRBO. He was verbally abusive and was dishonest re the ability for us to even stay there. We were NOt to let the security guard know we were STR. He stated that he had to move out for us. The house is listed for monthly rent on Zillow. He was so irate and badgering on the phone. Accused me of causing drama. I had been trying to reach Jim thru the app, text and phone for hours. I have never had ANY trouble like this in the past with other VRBO rentals. VRBO is refusing to refund my money even though we had to find other lodgings. The agent, who didn’t see the property assured me that the property was safe and that we should go. This is after HORRIFIC interactions between me and the host that left me in tears and extremely uneasy. The host then sent nasty text messages and laughed at me via text that I would NEVER get my money back, so I should just come and stay at the home. Would you? No!! Worst experience ever!!!

We love Delray Beach, and we enjoyed our month going to the beach, golfing, shopping and visiting the restaurants. We were disappointed that the house was dirty when we arrived. The air conditioning quit working after the first three days and a temporary fix was barely adequate. The kitchen supplies were minimal, the towels were scruffy, and cleaning supplies were almost nonexistent. And Mitch, the owner, was not feeling well, and was not very helpful. There was a terrible smell in the neighborhood, especially in the mornings. Perhaps it was the sewage. All in all, staying in this house for an entire month was unsatisfactory especially because we paid a very generous amount of money to stay there.

UNTRUE. Comfortable home. Smells fresh and nice. contents excellent new supplies, etc.
