Calme et sérénité

Emplacement : Un tout petit peu excentré, la rue principale du centre ville est tout de même facile d'accès à pied. Pour la plage, cela demande de marcher un peu.
Un petit jardin tropical qui inspire le calme et la sérénité. Des arbres et fleurs magnifiques, des bassins et des petites cascades rafraîchissantes, des kiosques sous les manguiers et un petit air de jazz qui renvoient un siècle en arrière... Détente assurée.

Beautiful grounds, old, damp and moldy room that r

The Sundy is well known for its excellent cuisine and for its exquisite grounds. Beautiful table settings for the outdoor restaurant and lovely Koi-stocked ponds are connected by a series of stone paths. However, staying at the Sundy is a different experience. The first floor room where I stayed was large and had at lovely decor, but the room was dark and suffered from black mold on the ceilings and in the bathroom shower stall, as well as the large armoire enclosing the small TV stank of mold. The shower door grab handle literally came apart upon contact, and the linens were damp with humidity. The staff are not available before 4 pm, and even then they admitted they do not answer the phone, even though I needed to get dry bed sheets. First night I had to sleep fully clothed! Finally, no continental cuisine was available after 9 am. While I do not know the condition of the other rooms, and these issues can be rectified by knowing how to handle the staff and knowing what to expect, no stay should have to be this difficult, and the existence of mold in any B & B or hotel is unacceptable and dangerous, even in humid southern Florida.

No one at front desk. Left message we would be arriving late. No one at desk. No key left. Nothing. No one answers phone or calls back. Extremely disappointing. Well laid out with beautiful landscaping but can't find anyone working there.

The property is beautiful...The rooms were run down and dirty...The TV did not work...When I told them about it...They never sent someone to fix it...It is a beautiful property...Just a shame that they do not take care of the rooms.

The property has historic charm, but is poorly run. Front desk staff unknowledgeable, light in bedroom not working, safe not working, missing bathroom toiletries upon checkin. Not very clean, and a large cockroach in our room one night. This place has potential, as it’s charming and well located. But management needs to get it together.
