Wonderful and Quiet Getaway
Publié le 14 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe views from the little room overlooking the Rappahannock River was spectacular. I was able to enjoy the sun from the private beach—- and go swimming (!) on Columbus Day weekend! It was relaxation at its best!

I had a great time with Regina and Jason. We were honored they chose to spend their anniversary with us and sure hope to see them again sometime.

Great little getaway

I had a great time with Jared. We went out fishing a couple times and he took full advantage of everything our place has to offer. I'd love it if he came back. Great guy.

Peaceful and Relaxing
Publié le 15 août 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect getaway to the rivah! Accommodations were clean and as advertised. Enjoyed interacting with Barry and Tammy (owners). We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Especially enjoyed the use of their dock and beach. Explored the area and brought home seafood. Highly recommend! Looking forward to returning in the future.

Has a great time with Laura and RJ. They took full advantage of all the place has to offer. I could spend every evening laughing and watching sunsets with them. I hope they enjoyed their time here as much as I enjoyed being with them.

Salve for the soul
Publié le 17 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur two day mini-vacation was the perfect getaway. The property was lovely with killer sunset, and a respite from the heat and humidity of the city with soft breeze from the river. Barry and Tammy were the most gracious hosts and hostesses.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Fusun and Carl. They are a wonderful couple and we hope to get to spend more time with them in the future. They really took advantage of the things the property has to offer; swimming, sunsets, mornings on the pier, etc. Loved them being here.

Beautiful river stay

If you have a boat or like to go out on the water, i definately recommend this place. The above garage aparentment was perfect, and you can see the water from the windows. Out on the deck you can watch a sunset over the water. The beach is sandy. The host Barry is kind and welcoming. I hope to go back.

Alli was very pleasant and enjoyable to talk to. We sincerely hope she comes back when the fishing is better in the fall. I would highly recommend her to other hosts, and hope to get to spend more time with her if she comes back.

Gorgeous, Relaxed, and comfortable!

The beach has an excellent sandy bottom and it was a wonderful deck and dock to enjoy the sunset and the Rappahonick. Thank you! Thank you for renting this great place. Also, Barry is such a kind person who is very nice to chat with.

I had a great time with Steve and Karen. It was truly a pleasure to get to spend some time with them and get to know them. It was also nice to see they made the time to take full advantage of all our place has to offer. Would love to see them again sometime.

I enjoyed meeting Skyler and Michelle. They were respectful of the property and seemed to enjoy being on the beach and pier. Would gladly host them again anytime.
