Cabins are very cute from the outside BUT the interiors need updating and repair. Ours had a burnt smell and it was no wonder considering the heater had something burnt on to its grate and the smoke detector was missing. They are hard to access you park at the bottom of the hill and walk up boardwalks to get up to it ... if it is raining in Alaska, this is crazy difficult and SLIPPERY! For the outrageous cost per night to stay there it is not worth it.

Everything was perfect. The room, food & drinks, Hot tub & sauna, and the helpful service. Definitely staying here again.

When considering these are cabins, and not hotel rooms, these were decent for cabins. The rooms were fine and beautiful from the outside. The linens could use an upgrade. They provide each room with a cooler that sits outside and access to a freezer with bagged ice. The van for transportation is old. The cabins are on the side of a hill/mountain so plan on lots of stairs and/or steep inclines to get to the front desk and another climb to get to your cabins. They do have a golf cart to bring your luggage up to your room.

A 3 star hotel with 5 star service.
The people who worked there couldn’t have been nicer and very accommodating.
The overlook restaurant, attached to the hotel was great too!
