Overpriced resort in a (too?) calm spot
Publié le 10 juin 2018 sur ExpediaFirst, be aware that there is a major distinction between "Ocean Front" and "Ocean View" if you dont want to finish with the room that has actually a view on the swimming pool (far away you might be able to see the ocean).
Dennisport is certainly a calm haven in the bay. You might find yourself doing the apero with people of a different sets of age...
We spent 3 nights there. We paid an additional +90US on the room price on the 3rd night (it was a Friday) despite the fact it was almost empty... I feel upset about the price and was reluctant to throw more money into the resort, thus left without tipping the room cleaning staff. It's a shame since they are certainly deserving a piece from this overpriced cake.
As a recommendation for the area : good Coffee (made from a real expresso machine) is hard to find for picky person like me. This isnt, however, directly attributable to the Resort, more a comment to improve the area; a good coffee shop.

The pool ,beach and front sitting area are unique..in that they are conveniently located and quiet! We felt like we had the place to ourselves!..The property is immaculate! Amenities were functional!
The only negative was the miscanthus grass landscape box that was in the parking lot! It obstructed the view for drivers to leave the lot! Aesthetics shouldn't take presidence over safety! Perhaps a smaller fountain grass would fit the lot.

The Property Owners should think about putting smart TVs in the rooms so guests can stream Netflix and other Services to the TV. The Wi-Fi was weak in our room. I didn't feel I received appropriate value for the nightly cost of the room. I don't think we will stay there again. I wish the hotel would have considered upgrading us to a better room given the low occupancy. Several missed opportunities to generate good will with this customer.
