The room was a great size and very clean, the bed was so comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and gave great food recommendations. The pool was nice, the sun goes behind the building around midday so would suggest you enjoy the pool and sun beds in the morning and head out to the beach etc in the afternoon.

The rooms are beautiful and the bedding is incredibly comfortable and luxurious. The hotel lobby and bar is beautiful and the staff are lovely. Cork bistro has a nice menu and decent bar. The pool area is lovely but if you’re after some sun by the pool, you’ll only get it in the middle of the day as it is shaded by the hotel and a large tree. We opted for a package that included daily massages at the in house spa but we don’t think the team are trained as the massages were not the best we’ve had in Bali. The spa is also right next to the pool so if there’s a lot of kids screaming and splashing in the pool and you’re someone who struggles to zone out, you may want to find a different place for a massage that’s more quiet and relaxing. Wifi is fast and reliable. Amenities are well thought out and the rooms beautiful finished. Filtered water machines on each floor is a nice touch too! Overall, we loved our stay at the Maison Aurelia but next time will opt for a package that includes breakfast and get massages elsewhere.

Loved this hotel, the location was perfect, walking distance to the beach and restaurants and shopping all along the same street. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful, couldn’t have asked for more.

Lovely spot, walkable to the beach and the whole shopping and dining scene. Room walls are thin, so bring earplugs to remain unbothered.

Hotel was okay, some of the ceilings in the foyer/restaurant have big holes in that need to be filled. Rooms were reasonably clean, lots of dust around the doors. Wife was bitten by loads of ants on the first night, we called room service at 5am, they changed sheets, said they would be back to spray the ant trail which they never, we bought some spray ourselves and done the job. Have read another review about someone else with an ant problem. Was uncomfortable for my wife as the bites were very itchy.

I liked the hotel, but was disappointed when we came back to our room after we left — as the my needed to clean the room. Floor was dirty, bed was made but sheets were not changed, and the bathroom counter was not cleaned. We were also short one bath towel, but we found it stuck into our toilet with the lid shut. They did make it right, however no explanation for the towel.
