Booked here as looked an interesting place to stay. Enjoyed the communal breakfast table. Service : almost absent just going thru the bare minimum motions. Made up by location and chatting with fellow guests.

Thank you Ian... I do apologize since I was in Corpus Christi, TX for my Dad's funeral. I also know that the weather had changed, so they were doing breakfast inside instead of the garden. I will have a talk with staff about being absent. I am glad you enjoyed the location and the other guests. Let me know when you're back in Denver and I can host you as my guests.Carl

The process of checking in was easy and we loved our room. Carl, the owner, was so helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay. It is an old house and a historical building but the owner made it very lovely. Feels like my grandparents home many years ago. BTW you will miss the coffee here.

The property is dated but well cared for and clean. Breakfast in the garden in the morning was a pleasant experience throughout the stay. We would recommend this B&B to others.

The Capitol Hill Mansion B & B is an absolute gem! If I could I’d rate it a 5 . The location is very convenient allowing for walking to a lot of Denver attractions. The rooms are beautiful and so comfortable. The property has a historic designation and when you enter through the front gates you feel like you are stepping back in time where you might have had a tea in the front salon with the unsinkable Molly Brown! The breakfast served in the secret garden was fresh made, hot and delicious. Carl and his staff are absolutely amazing. Can’t recommend this place enough!!!!
