Not great
Publié le 25 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe arrived to the site and there were broken glass bottles outside of the tent and the site was overall cluttered and did not look taken care of. One of the tents was falling down. No blankets in the other tent and it seemed as someone just left without cleaning. Finally got a hold of the property manager and he refunded my money. The location of the tent was close to Red Rocks.

Excellent stay
Publié le 1 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwaySo close to red rocks such a great stay. Will be back to hike to red rocks for the next show. All the negative reviews are obviously from people who can't read or just are lame.

It rained the entire time of our stay and there were a few leaks in the Yurt fabric. Enough so that all of our belongings that had been sitting on the floor were soaking wet the next day and sitting in a puddle of standing water.
The exterior shower had no accessible water.
The yurt comes stocked with all sorts of usable items but not a single working battery. BYOB
Inside of the yurt the floor was pretty dirty. Having a broom on site would’ve helped a lot and I would’ve swept out all of the leaves and other debris before and after our stay.
The propane heater did work surprisingly well and kept the interior fairly toasty.
The yurt was described as 2 miles from Red Rocks. It’s actually almost 3 and is a lot of climbing/descending slick rocks. Be warned, this isn’t an easy hike at night or in the rain and you definitely need a headlamp.
Make sure to touch base with the property owner regarding a gate access code before your visit. I didn’t realize that we even needed one and had the hardest time finding that information. The owner was responsive to a text asking about the code but took like 1.5 hours to reply.

Did not few safe and Host wouldn’t respond
Publié le 24 août 2024 sur HomeAwayAs two woman, we pulled up after a Red Rocks show and were greeted by a stuffed dummy with a Jason mask. I had messaged the host 12+ hours before to get check in info and they never responded. We had no idea how to get beyond the gate. More importantly, our instincts told us it wasn’t a good idea. Since we didn’t feel safe, we had to find a last minute hotel in Denver. I reached out to VRBO re safety but they have also ignored me and refused to refund our stay.

Yurt
Publié le 14 août 2024 sur HomeAwayI sent the host a question about cooking wo days prior to check in. I am still waiting for the reply. I took a charcoal grill and it was not allowed. The bed was full of hair. All kinds of it. There was a hole in the top of the seam and the zippers didn't completely close allowing water in and there was a puddle and mold.

There was no bedding…would’ve loved a heads up on no pillows or blankets. Could absolute not fit 4 people…overall very disappointed

Good experience, great for after Red Rocks shows, had a propane heater (it snowed, so this was key), clean bed. Property had some old cars and things on it, but great views in most directions. Not luxe, but what we needed and as described.

Convenient place to stay near red rocks
Amphitheater but the yurts are not clean and as mentioned in the listing no housekeeping. Right below a busy interstate so lots of truck and road noises all night.
