Communication through Expedia after booking was minimal. We did not receive a code for entry, no one was available on site for that information, the grass had not been cut in many weeks, the advertisement for yoga was not offered, the bed in our room was so hard to sleep on, we literally thought we were sleeping on a box spring. We were strongly encouraged not to flush ANY toilet paper after going to the bathroom. As I was eating my breakfast, muffins were offered, but I opted to not eat any of them as I am trying to maintain a gluten free diet. Wilhelmina asked me why I had not eaten it and upon telling her my explanation, she brought out an ENTIRE box of Quaker Gluten Free Oatmeal. It was unnecessary and made for an uncomfortable situation. She and her husband were arguing in the kitchen about leaving for an appointment on time, while we were having breakfast. My concerns were never addressed through the Expedia APP. We left just after breakfast and stayed elsewhere.

We are very surprised at all the dishonest comments. We have received nothing but glowing reviews from all our guests, over the years that we have hosted. Even from the guests that were present at the time Chastity and her boyfriend were there. We mostly host Airbnb guests and I have had Super Host status for the last seven years. We will continue offering our guests a 5 star experience. Wilhelmina

Mountain Setting
Publié le 16 juill. 2021 sur HotelsThis B and B is conveniently located to the hiking and dining in the area in a lovely mountain setting. It is surrounded by wildlife and during our visit, wildflowers and busy hummingbirds. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Think twice before booking
Publié le 13 déc. 2020 sur HotelsI attempted to stay here in August. There was no air conditioning. The bathrooms are shared with owners and other guests. The bathroom downstairs only has a curtain to separate from the living space. We checked out hours after checking in. The owner said she would refund my nights, but never did. I called her multiple times and she never returned my calls.

In response to this very unfair and dishonest review, Laura and her "girlfriend" and partner never arrived at the agreed check in time, but showed up hours later obviously inebriated. We welcomed them and offered a brief orientation which they refused. I explained the breakfast and asked for their preferences. The next day I received a call from Laura to say that they decided to stay somewhere with a bar. We never agreed to a refund as we did not have the opportunity to rebook the room.
We have been hosting bed and breakfast for many years and have many wonderful repeat guests, both Expedia and Airbnb Super host status (please check our reviews).
Our 5000 ft facility on 5 acres with incredible views has three large guests rooms and three bathrooms. As hosts our accommodation is totally separate from the guests. Being in the Colorado mountains at 8200 ft elevation we do not need air conditioning. We only need heating.
We can only hope that we will not have to deal with undesirable guests in the future.

Amazing stay,
Publié le 9 nov. 2020 sur HotelsAmazing stay, we've been the only guest in the house that week so the host upgrades us to the best room. it's a relatively small and comfy place with a gorgeous mountain view ! they have a nice hot tub out side and a very nice breakfast is included. Don't expect a fancy hotel but a very comfy BNB with great hospitality. be aware that not all the rooms have a private bathroom.

Beautiful and secluded stay in Evergreen, CO. Close to many hiking trails. The hosts were wonderful! We would definitely return.

Very pleasant ,nice view, clean and organized. The bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was awesome.

The breakfast is cereal, hard boiled eggs or banana/apple. The view was nice while having coffee which is what we had for breakfast. Beds were comfortable.

Dear anonymous guest. We are not sure who you are, but hope that you had a wonderful visit in Evergreen CO and thank you for choosing us to host your stay.
From 7 am we always offer a comprehensive continental breakfast, and encourage our clients to let us know if there is anything special they would like us to add. We offer choice of cereals, muffins, raisin bread, hard boiled eggs, seasonal fruit, yogurt and bagels. Coffee starts brewing at 6 am and is available all day.
