You Will Love This Place

Not to mention the view could not be any prettier and I am talking from every window in the house, you can see for miles and it is breathtaking and the perfect little town is very near, I love all the little shops and restaurants.

Awesome in every way
Publié le 17 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful stay, the view was beautiful. The house was clean, comfy and cozy. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. We loved every minute. I already booked another stay and can't wait to get back..Oh and the town of Evergreen is so neat, the shops and restaurants are great..Just over all a great place to visit.

Perfect location for an Evergreen Lakehouse wedding
Publié le 24 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe proximity to downtown Evergreen and all of our pre-wedding and wedding activities was great! We enjoyed the mountain vista and wildlife viewing. The property is peaceful and relaxing as well. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, glassware, etc. Communication with Sandra was easy and efficient.

Bring Your Own Supplies
Publié le 14 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe positive is the view is fantastic and the beds were comfortable enough. The two bathrooms had been redone and were quite nice, though the shower handle in the main bathroom was loose and there was just a pedestal sink in the second floor bathroom, making it difficult to put your stuff somewhere. The stopper in the bathtub did not fit, though if you held it there while the water was running, it would eventually stay. There was one kitchen hand towel and one dishrag; no tea towels to dry dishes. We were given 5 dishwasher tablets for a two-week stay. Not all soap dispensers were full. There was one starter roll of toilet paper in each bathroom; the rest you had to supply yourself. The loft bed is extraordinarily dangerous, especially for kids. You have to climb 10 steps on the ladder to climb into it, with NO railings to prevent someone from falling out. The windows were extremely dirty. I cleaned the grill before we used it but one of the burners doesn't work and neither does the electric starter. The temp only got to 350 degrees. There is only one wine glass with LOTS of margarita glasses. Plenty of coffee cups, drinking glasses and silverware. The cookie sheets were well used and the oven mitts were too dirty to want to use. A deck chair with broken metal slats chewed up my husband's pants. Had to buy a coffee pot for the cabin (was reimbursed). Accumulated dust on the ceiling fans. Had to sweep floors when we got there. Place needs attention from the owner.

Karen, I'm sorry you had such a terrible experience. I counted almost 20 emails from you from before your arrival, during and after, including emails at 3am,4am, 5am and 6am! You mentioned visiting at many vrbo sites and are never satisfied. Our rental agreement which was available online before you booked, and which you signed, clearing stated we offer a starter supply of TP, paper towel, trash bags, detergent, etc., and that you should plan to bring what you need. Many short term rental owners do this because abundant supplies tend to walk away. A professional plumber supplied the bathtub stopper, and it does fit-does work. The shower handle has been fixed, and I thank you for letting me know, We have new cleaners this year, and I'm not pleased every time after they're finished with the house and cabin, but I'm working with them. They had not let me know about the missing coffee pot, which was new, nor the loose shower handle. The oven mitts will be washed and or replaced. The cleaners are supposed to leave several tea towels at each visit. The wine glasses are in the cabinet above the refrigerator. It can be frustrating, but we stive to present the best possible combination of rustic comfort and a touch of luxury. We go over every square inch multiple times a year, and make improvements as often as possible. You sent me a picture of the floor you swept-of the laundry room. We take your criticism seriously, and will continue to work to be the best we can be, and offer a wonderful property for family vacations. I hope viewers will also see our many wonderful reviews and many happy previous guests.
