The check in was horrible. The front desk woman, Tania, did a poor and lackadaisical job at giving me any sort of info about the hotel, its amenities and the area in general. She also misquoted me on the cost of parking; telling me that it would be roughly $30 for the stay, and then ended up charging me about $30 per day. But what takes the cake is that my first evening at The Source, the front desk gave a room key to a complete stranger and allowed them access to my room while I was out. My friend and I came back to the room to find the man snooping around, but he bolted out like a bat out of hell after we had returned. This was a pretty hefty violation to mine and my friends safety, but when I reached out to management thru their website, I still have to this day not yet received a response to this issue. Just all around terrible front desk service and management as well.
The hotel itself, while clean and not terrible by any means, is very basic. We stayed in a Skyline Suite which was very bland and pretty uncomfortable. The furniture was cheap and very uncomfortable just to sit on. The televisions were very dated and had no smart features, so we’re stuck to watching basic cable the entire stay. The bathroom has no exhaust fan, so if you’re staying with friends or loved ones… enjoy that smell throughout the whole room every morning. The “soaking tub” is barely big enough for a child, let alone an adult. And there is no carpeting throughout the rooms either. Just rugs.

Regarding the communication on parking we would be happy to take a look at your final folio if you could call and ask to speak to our Room Director. After a scan of our website email we do not see an email that would tie to your incident and want to make sure we are able to connect. We would also be more that happy to look into how your room was accessed and address that internally with our team.As for the basic feel you mention… We couldn’t agree more. And that is why we are primed to start renovations of our rooms and public space later this year. The Source is a great option in RINO, but it's not the closest property to many Denver area attractions. The Woods restaurant on the 8th floor is a great spot to hang, have a drink and a light bite with great views of the mountains. The rooms are spare but spacious and perfectly comfortable if you don't require a lot of amenities.

I loved everything about the hotel (room, food hall, common areas, location, style, etc) except for one thing. I do not understand nor recommend rooms with a garage door. My room faced southwest and had hot bright sun beating down into the room throughout the day. I had to keep the garage door closed with the shade all the way down. I felt like I was in a dark room or garage with no exterior light or connection to the outside. Even when the sun went down and I was able to open the garage door I had a view of a parking garage, rooftops, and buzzing rooftop HVAC units. The heat and sound bounced off the concrete and metal and I ended up closing the door anyway.
I loved the hotel. I do not recommend the garage door rooms.

They really oversold the pool and rooftop area! Pool was rusted and old not as pictured on the website. Parking was $24/day plus a $25/day destination fee! Food and drink were just ok but way overpriced. Hotel itself was nice but not worth the money
