I stayed for 6 nights at the Manohara hotel for a conference at UGM. My stay throughout was excellent, provided that one does not stick around for a meal or beverages. On the one occasion when I decided to have lunch in their restaurant on a Saturday afternoon at 12pm, my one dish of rice and fried chicken took nearly an hour to arrive. Besides one other party of guests in the restaurant, there was just myself. The hotel, room, and location are excellent, but you are better off finding a meal outside the hotel.

Clean, quiet, rooms, good breakfast, nice pool and gym facilities and friendly helpful staff.

Excellent hotel with great and friendly staff. Good food and good amenities. Nice size room for the price. Little bit offside from the city centre but easy access with taxi

Facilities were generally good, however language barrier was an issue; unless you know Bahasa Indonesia. Room service mixed up orders. The spa did not deliver the service as indicated. Toilet had frequent flooding issues. However, the breakfast buffet spread & room makeover were top notch.

The staff there were well trained. They were very helpful. They had a variety of breakfast options. My overall experience there was very good. Would highly recommend this hotel!
