Friendly staff.The room was large and well furnished with a very large comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean. Being an old property, there were some cobwebs. Teh wifi was not good for us. The hotel is at a road junction with some traffic noise. Friday night was live music downstairs until 11.45 and then activity until 2.00am - ask about it in advance if you are a light sleeper.

Absolutely beautiful property that resides in the quiet and tranquil area of North Elmham.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by the front of house staff member who was very pleasant, polite and helpful.
We went up to our room, which upon opening the door, we were amazed at just how big the room was. Super king-sized bed and all the furniture made from solid wood. The bathroom was exceptionally spacious also.
The bed was comfy, there were plenty of facilities (ironing board, iron, soap, body wash, tea & coffee, kettle, mirrors, hair dryer, fan etc), really quiet location, pleasant staff, clean, great food, all at a fantastic price. A well deserved 5 stars all round from me.

We were a group of 4 cyclists touring Norfolk and this is a truly excellent place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was very good - not pub food by any standards! - and the beer was also top notch. Highly recommended.
