When I first booked this motel at such a reasonable rate I was a bit concerned - BUT nothing to worry about. Really one of the nicest motels I have ever stayed in at any price. Friendly staff. Room laid out well, air conditioning / heater worked fine, not rattles, etc. Super clean room, same for outside. Nice pool though I did not use it. Walls seem well insulated. Large TV, worked well. Instant hot water all times of the day. Highly recommended.

The fridge in the first room we had didn't work. My room card kept deactivating so had to bug the front desk at least once a day. Beds a little stiff. Stagf super friendly. Very clean. Quiet and safe area, was a female on the first floor. If I go to Iowa again I would consider staying here again.

I really enjoyed our stay. The only downside, and this is small, was the lack of elevator.

The hotel smells musty, and the air conditioner was old. The window was rusty and the shower drips non-stop.
