Dirty is an understatement. This place was absolutely disgusting. As soon as we opened the door it smelled like urine. There were black hairs all over the bedding. The carpets hadn't been vacuumed. The shower curtain had mildew all over it and black spots. It doesn't look like the base of the toilet has ever been cleaned. The bathroom floor was sticky and there were hairs all over the shower walls. Do not stay here!

I chose this hotel for price and easy access to the interstate. There were other hotels that were less expensive but not as good in my experience as Baymont properties. My mistake. Other than the room itself, this property was a slum. Hallways and floors were filthy, there was a large bag of garbage full of bees blocking the door to my building, there was a wrecked car with "Runs - Drives" written on it outside my room, some windows were coated with residue, lawn hadn't been weeded or mowed in a long time. I was put in a building completely separate from the lobby, which as a woman traveling alone wasn't reassuring. The chain lock on my door was broken. Room actually was OK, bed comfortable, AC and hot water worked. Fan in bathroom had no cover and mirror was smeared/dirty. TV did not work and a nice maintenance guy tried to fix it but couldn't get the volume to work. I was offered the room next door but the remote control was missing. The area around the hotel is aging industrial park and strip club. If you are with family or traveling alone, I suggest you try a cheaper option as this was not worth the Baymont price.

We needed to check in early and I had called and asked if that was ok. She said it was $20 added (which was fine). We get there and once they've charged everything, they put us in a room that should have been blocked off. The smoke detector was chirping every 20 seconds bc the battery was dead/dying. There were also no towels or washcloths ready in the room. We were going to an event and were going to be going most of the day after that. I went to desk to ask them to fix it while we were gone, she said she would talk to maintenance and have it fixed for us. We get back at 1130pm, still hadn't been fixed and No towels were brought. I asked if there was a screwdriver to take off the cage covering the detector even just for the night so it would stop and she said she didn't know if they had any and wouldn't know where to look. I asked the lady if there was another room since there was no way anyone could sleep with that loud chirp every 20 secs. She put us in the room right next door because there wasn't anything else and gave me two towels. So while dulled through the wall, you could still hear the chirp. None of us got any sleep. I tried to find someone in the morning to talk to about even possibly getting the early check in fee refunded, but couldn't find anyone at the desk or even in the breakfast room. There was a sign that said "dial 0 for service", it doesn't do much good when it just rings the phone at the desk. Wouldn't stay again with the kind of service provided here.

Highly disappointed. Our room or bathroom wasnt cleaned, Remote wasn't programed to the tv.

I had water under the fridge in my room with no help from staff. The room smelled like mold and the door had a crack in the middle like it had been kicked in before. Expedia was kind enough to find me a new place to stay since they also were unable to talk to the staff

Impossible to contact

I had to cancel last minute. I tried over ten times to reach the front desk via two different phone numbers. I also sent messages through the hotels.com system and never heard from anyone. They have yet to reach out. Now I expect they will charge me a no-show fee, which I will have to fight as I did try to inform them. Their lack of accessible voicemail is concerning. Very poor customer service and not at all user friendly.
