Too hot in the room, no HVAC control

Unfortunately in the guest rooms you are not able to control the temperature in the rooms. We are an older hotel and we using what is called a two pipe system. Either the entire building is Heat or Cool.

Parking lot was closed. Had to walk across to a different lot. Was never told when booking

Parking sucks. Rude bar tender. Room smelled. Pool unavailable due to a party. Should be a time limit even for the kids. It should be free breakfast due to the quality. All other staff were nice, rooms were cleaned and decent room prices

We are working as fast as we can to get the parking deck reopened. I assure we at the Holiday Inn do not at any point close the pool for any private event.

Thought that breakfast was free, The room was hot even when they brought 2 fans up to the room. Had to park in a parking lot a block away very inconvenient for guests. Do better.

Being a full-service Holiday Inn, free breakfast is an amenity we do not offer. There some room rates that include breakfast, that would be a higher rate though. Regarding the Parking Deck we are working as fast as we can to get the project done. We are endeavoring to assist our guests that best we are able to.

We enjoyed our stay here. We were in town for a baseball game so we didn’t use the room for more than sleeping, but it was very nice and quiet. I would definitely recommend 10/10!

Our room was so noisy it was as if we were sleeping on the highway. When we stay in Des Moines we will stay elsewhere next time.
