Lovely clean, well maintained pool with sun lounge area overlooking the lake.
Sliding doors opening up to a lovely terrace.
Absolutely stunning location.
Staff were very helpful, I smashed a bottle on the floor, I informed staff, and they immediately came to clean it up for us.
My only negative was no kettle, though when I realised, four days in, that others had a kettle and mentioned it to staff they brought one for us. The other thing we had nothing to clean worktops/dishes with. We had washing up liquid but no sponge/cloth, even though there was a sign up saying we had to keep the kitchen clean. We asked staff for sponge/cloth and they said they didn't provide them. How we were meant to keep the dishes/worktops clean?
Also I would never book with Hotels.com again as o messaged on several occasions and got no reply.

We loved the patio, it was huge and the lake view was just amazing. We could sit there and enjoy it for hours….
And the bonus was that you could actually leave your apartment in swimming costume and jump into the lake because it is that close.
The apartment was nice quite spacious and with all needed equipments.
The staff in reception were really welcoming and helpful - we had arrived later than expected and didn’t have any problems to contact them how to get the keys; also any other little problems like missing chopping board in the kitchen or not working air conditioner were solved quickly.

Mangler lidt endnu
Publié le 6 août 2024 sur HotelsRigtig god service trods mangler, rengøring var under middel og lejligheden fremstod slidt. Ikke de bedste senge, men det gik.
Beliggenheden var fantastisk og træk virkelig op, men stort minus er det at poolen er i skygge fra kl 15. Vandet i poolen er koldt, som i rigtig koldt. Vandet i søen var varmere og heldigvis var der en badebro lige udenfor.
Tæt på by og markedet, med andre ord perfekt beliggenhed... Skøn udsigt!
Parkering kælder for nogle.

The location was better than I expected. The kids loved that dock in front of our room and spent a lot of time

Location was great - close to ferry, bus, and many restaurants. The pool was great to cool off during the Summer - it was never too crowded. We liked that we were able to use the kitchen to cook, and there was a washing machine to do laundry as well. However, the property is outdated on the inside. Our apartment in the lower floor had moldy walls in the bedrooms. The shower stall was also moldy. The a/c was not cold at all - it felt like a fan. We needed to get a dehumidifier from the front desk to get all the humidity out. We also didn't use the patio area because there were so many spider webs in the ceilings and also mosquitos.

Unfortunately this apartment, since it is in the basement, can be subject to dampness if the windows are kept closed all the time. We have now intervened to restore the apartment to its best condition.Regarding AC, this problem was caused by power outages that affected the entire Desenzano area during the days of your stay, so it was beyond our control. As for the patio, we clean it regularly, but since it is so close to the lake, it is possible to find insects, regardless of when it was cleaned. We work to improve our service and the quality of our apartments, so we hope to host you again in order to make you change your mind about us.The Wonderful Italy Team
