Welcome to our Cozy Cottage on the Columbia River. Located in the gorgeous 3,000 acre Desert Aire area which features 18 hole PGA-rated golf course, boating, large park and amazing community pool for kids. Restaurants nearby and only 30 minutes from The Gorge. Come enjoy the Desert in our newly furnished home. We are centrally located with river front views. Three mile walking, running, and biking trail follows the river and offers a great way to explore the neighborhood. Relax in the hot tub year round. Property can accommodate boat and RV parking during your stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well appointed. We stayed and drove to the Gorge for a concert which was an easy drive. The host communicated quickly. The view of the mountains and the river were beautiful . We took advantage of the hot tub and the community pool (great perks!)

Great rental with a perfect location for views and concerts
This house was so well decorated, very spacious, everything we needed and beautiful views. We loved it and will be back for future concerts. One of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in. loved the hot tub and view. Beds were comfy and living room was very comfortable and plenty of seating for all. Highly recommend this property and cant wait to stay again.

The property is very functional and amenities up to date. The TV does not have a paid service so live sports are not available to watch. It is very convenient with a drive through driveway. The only negative for us was smell of an animal when opening the unit up. I would recommend the property.

A Great Getaway
This was the perfect place for a friend's getaway. The location is isolated but that's ok when you just want to hang out. The house was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a great couch for watching TV. The temps were very hot so any outside activity was best done in the early morning. The hot tub was a great evening relaxation. We had a great time!

Amazing home and location!
Jamie was an excellent host! He was very quick to respond to messages and even had a book of suggestions of local activities. The house was absolutely amazing! Much bigger than the photos suggest. Watching the sunset over the mountains in the hot tub was the icing on top of this great experience! Will definitely be back!

Surprising gem!
We have stayed in many VRBO properties over quite a few years and this property was a very pleasant surprise: better than anticipated. We stayed for a mini family get together of two nights (Friday and Saturday) with six adults and one toddler. The photos don’t really do it justice; the property is more spacious than expected, with a nice deck on the western or sunset side and an equally nice deck on the eastern or sunrise side. The view of the Columbia River is stunning; sunrise and sunset were stunning. The exterior and grounds were meticulously maintained, and this seems to generally be the case for Desert Aire, which is a planned community of what seems to be mostly retirees. The interior was spotless and looks fairly newly remodeled and furnished in very nice IKEA style. The kitchen was thoroughly equipped with all necessary cookware, appliances, utensils, etc. A tiny quibble: no teakettle. Supplies of paper products, soaps, etc. were all present and all appliances and lights worked. The owner furnished a binder of clear instructions for check in, check out, and how everything worked and background on the area as well as a welcome note. One suggestion would be to add a map of the area and the development. Hot tub instructions were clear and it was nice to enjoy that. There was absolutely no noise or any kind of distraction and little traffic in the area. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. One other little quibble is that were no lights in the living area per se and it seemed rather dark. This property is a gem and an exceptional value and we would stay again in a heartbeat.

Peaceful & comfortable getaway
This cozy cottage is clean, open, bright, comfortable & well appointed. The owner Jamie was easy to communicate with, responsive & kind. It was obvious the owners put time into making this a fun & safe place to stay. We all enjoyed a relaxing weekend with everything needed available in the house. We loved the trail & outdoor options to be active. The hot tub is very nice to have for the winter. It was our first time in Desert Aire & we would definitely return to explore other seasons too. Thank you!!
