Relaxing space
Publié le 8 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayVery nice unit. TV in the master bedroom didnt work the whole stay. Never got fixed after i called the day we checked in. Overall ut was a nice place to visit.

Beautiful view
Publié le 16 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a huge resort with many amenities. The beach is within walking distance which was very nice. The condo had everything needed. All you need is your clothes. My only negative comment is that I didn't realize there were so many steps leading up to the unit. I have back issues and it made it very difficult to get into the unit. That is my fault - I should have done more research. I think I thought there would be an elevator which would have made things perfect! I would definitely recommend this resort!

Honeydoomed! No AC upon arrival!
Publié le 18 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWords cannot capture the depth of our sorrow and the heartbreak we felt during the two days we spent in this property for our honeymoon. Forced to sleep on the kitchen floor in 86-degree heat, we discovered that management was well aware of the broken AC before our arrival. We learned this when we had to file another ticket to get it fixed, and the customer service representative confirmed they knew about the issue. Instead of resolving it, they had installed a swamp cooler in the laundry window, which offered only a weak semblance of relief.
After a grueling seven-hour drive, we were given no advance notice of the situation. When we finally managed to speak with someone, it took over 24 agonizing hours for the house to begin to cool down. Tragically, as we were checking out on our last day, the home finally reached a comfortable temperature—just as we were packing up to leave.
This experience will forever be etched in our memories, but unfortunately, not for the reasons we had hoped

Knowing there were 3 flights of stairs would’ve been helpful. My husband has bad knees and back.
Otherwise met our need and loved the beach access.

3 Ladies and 2 Schnauzers

I booked this location through VRBO, the listing says dog fees are included but it’s $20 per dog for additional dogs, also shows no stairs nor is there mention of a 2nd Floor. The Vacasa listing I was sent a link to after my stay says it’s on the 2nd floor, however that down plays the stairs still. It’s 4 flights up which is 36 steps up splintered wood steps, no elevator and on a down pour raining day, it can be an experience to navigate luggage, groceries, water, a person with mobility issues and a blind dog. Taking 2 dogs to go potty, it added 72 steps each time 2 elderly dogs had to go potty or take a walk. The beaches in the area do not allow dogs. The day we departed it was a down pour day and I personally went up and down 25 times to pack the vehicle. That’s 1800 steps I did alone for that one function. So just mentioning it’s on the 2nd floor is a down play on Vacasa’s description but it’s not on VRBO at all. I’d call it the 3rd floor.
When we checked in, the security gate was a bit creepy about requesting dog tag numbers and dates for rabie vaccinations etc and collecting the additional $10 fee per dog. This is not for Vacasa but Sand Piper Cove creating this policy. Their security gate ppl did not know how to handle this it felt like it was not apart of normal operation.

Beautiful and pet friendly was a plus for us
Publié le 19 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayA beautiful home - kitchen well equipped/ 2 coffee pots Reg. Drip & Keurig. Bathrooms were very nice with plenty of towel. Living area was nice and comfortable. Dining table was small but a problem.. outside back deck was amazing and plenty of little tables and chairs.
