Although it states its a non smoking hotel, upon arrival all you can smell is marijuana. I don't mind it as my wife is a medical card holder but I'm sure others may mind. The staff and man who checked me in was helpful and nice. No issues there. I didnt see much of the hotel besides the front desk area and our room. The front desk area looked decent. The room however smelled terrible like old and musty. The carpet needs to be cleaned very badly. It turned my feet black. The tv is older and took awhile to turn on. Mostly everything is old in there and the chair in the room had a cover over it. The bed was super uncomfortable. It sinks you in so if you have a bad back you won't be getting up out of it. The room could use a dehumidifier too, it was very damp in there. The carpet was wet feeling and the bed as well. There was also a guy outside of our room eyes closed drugged out standing up at 2am. We got the room only for one night and it was only to sleep mainly. We went to the Lions game and got back late. It wasnt too far from Ford Field. Took about 10 minutes. We didnt want to spend $500 for a room to sleep in so we chose to stay a bit away from the stadium. We got a good nights rest despite the issues. We were exhausted. If we werent, the sleeping situation would have been tough. Whoever was above us was pretty loud stomping around too. Other then that we didnt hear anything. Probably wont stay at that hotel again.

While clean, our room reeked of cigarette smoke. Lots of small bugs in the room as well. Definitely will not stay at this hotel again.
