The bathroom door didn’t close unless you pulled really hard, there’s no proper ventilation in the bathroom so there’s mold on the ceiling. The room itself is fine but the bathroom needs proper ventilation and a door replacement.

The heat was turn off in both rooms I had. In the middle January in Detroit my room thermos said 52 degrees. One room warmed up after a couple of hours the other never got above 65 degrees even though we had heat set at 85. Very disappointed

The property is likely one of the original Hampton Bays about 20 years old. Personally 20 year old public carpet is too old. The room entrances and bathrooms seemed updated, the towels were great. Otherwise the room, bed, furniture, curtains and carpet seemed original. For such a small space I like to feel with confidence the floor is clean.

As usual, everything was up to the usual Hampton Inn standards. Quick check in. Clean room. Etc Until we went to breakfast. Apparently at this hotel, 10am means 930am, as that's when we got to the breakfast area, only to find no food available other than a couple pieces of fruit and some muffins. They had completely cleaned out the rest of the breakfast items (including the ability to make waffles) a full 30 minutes early. Very very disappointing, as we needed to find breakfast elsewhere.
