We were working in the Detroit area and were very fortunate to find such a wonderful place that not only had great views but was spacious, very clean, had plenty of parking, and was just a great home to be able to stay in while away.

Wedding stay
Publié le 13 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe location is really beautiful. Mornings on the front deck with coffee watching the sun on the mountains is really relaxing and refreshing. Everything was as good as can be in a rental property. Would definitely recommend this property to everyone. I hope we get to visit again sometime. Thanks to the host for great communication.

Awesome place
Publié le 27 août 2023 sur HomeAwayHad a mini-family reunion on the lake. The house was lovely and everyone had a great time. The only very slight negatives were no bathroom upstairs for the loft and the outdoor grill was only half-working. But overall 5 stars!! Would definitely stay again!

Detroit weekend vacation
Publié le 15 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThe property is nice, but has lots of stairs. Some up to porch, some inside to main level. Showers are very small. Many extra thoughtful items for renters. The biggest problem was the lack of shade outside. The only shade was the small porch and the temperatures were between 90 and 100. I will say the ac worked very well. The other big factor was the lack of a bathroom on the second floor. If all these things were addressed the house would be perfect. I understand that the owners have not owned the property for very long, and in talking to the owner, they are still working on it.

We'd like to clarify that we DO have two large bathrooms: one on the lower floor and one on the 2nd/main floor living area. I believe you are referring to the 3rd floor loft as having no bathroom. :-)
We are working on more shade solutions, so stay tuned and we look forward to having you back next year.
