L'aspect exterieur de l'hotel laisse a desirer, j'ai d'abord cru qu'il etait abandonne ou ferme. La chambre avait neanmoins ete renovee et etait tres propre, avec frigo et micro ondes. Tout fonctionnait. La dame a l'accueil etait aimable. L'hotel est tres bien situe pour qui veut visiter Detroit. Je conseille (ne pas se laisser rebuter par l'exterieur). Pas de petit dejeuner.

Economical choice
Publié le 25 août 2024 sur HotelsOur check in was quick and friendly, and the owner was great. The room was clean, and tidy. Its fairy bare bones, 1 soap bar 1 roll of TP. The bed and pillows aren't very comfortable, but i would stay again. It was a great price, and a reasonable walking distance to downtown. Upside, the property had a really friendly cat.

Really? I find that a bit far fetched. We were very good to you. Even in so far as trying to give directions and being very kind and helpful. I would like to know what was wrong with your stay. Considering that you came to the office at least 3 times a day while you were here.

Lady at desk was nice. Male was very rude. Shower drain backs up and takes awhile to drain.

You were treated quite well but we got complaints from the rooms on either side of you complaining of the smell of marijuana, it may be legal here but it is not allowed on the motel property. We also forbid smoking in our rooms of anything. After you left I went to your room and the smell was overwhelming, even though you said you didn't smoke in your room. You are not welcome here any more. One thing I cannot abide is being lied too.

Really? I'd like to know your reason behind your comment. Your room was clean and if there was something wrong you never brought it to our attention. I cannot fix what I don't know about. Sorry you didn't enjoy your stay but I have to say that was on you.

Liked the fact it was with in walking distance of anything you need.
We felt safe walking day time or night.
It was not the fanciest motel but it served its purpose for what we needed.
Would definitely stay again if we go back to that area.

Walking distance to major sports stadiums and cheap, with parking. Room was clean, but A/C was weak.

Got the job done
Publié le 14 juill. 2024 sur HotelsFor what it is, it got the job done pretty well. It’s cheap, very close to dt, and an ok place to crash quickly. The bed was clean and comfortable, there were clean towels and hot water, and free cable tv. The AC worked great, and the minor water issue we had was resolved in no time. It sure beat the $400/night staying dt det.

Yes the motel is old it was built in 1959. But it is clean and close to every major venue in Detroit. Hopefully next time you are in Detroit you may consider staying with us again.

Will never stay here again. No desk no outlets by the bed no coffee maker a bit dusty in spots in my room. I’m in room seven by the way luckily it’s only for one night. Which means no places to eat at except sitting on the bed. No chair either.

Well given the fact that you are legally blind might have something to do with the fact that you couldn't find anything in your room. There is indeed a desk and a chair in room 7. Also there are outlets located by the nightstands on both sides of the bed. Not all rooms have coffee makers, and I'm still wondering how you saw dust. You were escorted to your room by a staff member and you were told if you needed anything all you had to do was let us know. You didn't so how could anything be fixed if you don't let someone know. Anyway you won't be back so I'm really not worried about this bogus review.
